Description: Since opening its doors in August of 2012, Zibiru has garnered a strong loyal following with its made-from-scratch regional Italian cuisine. The restaurant has a bit of everything for everyone, from food enthusiasts to wine lovers, soul and jazz music fans—every Wednesday night, live jazz by Jeko Fauzy Trio emanates from the garden—to romantics looking for intimate dining and low conversation. It is a unique meeting point for the five senses, providing a little oasis from the noise and activity in Seminyak. Adorned with authentic details exuding old Bali charm, the restaurant revives the romance of the past with its whitewashed facade, hand-carved wooden interiors and handmade furnishings. This homey, convivial feeling is one you get throughout the space the minute you step through its doors. The restaurant offers three different dining experiences—al fresco in the garden amidst lush tropical flora, under the stars of the rooftop lounge or in the haven of its air-conditioned interior.Zibiru is not just a restaurant but also a “gastro-atelier”, where the junctions of Executive Chef Luigi Calcagno’s background in Italian and French cooking meet to create traditional, handmade culinary delights. The menu showcases the best offerings from the field and market—fish arrives fresh daily, bread is homemade on location, pastas are handcrafted from scratch. Organic heirloom vegetables are harvested from Zibiru’s own environmentally positive farm in the mountains of Bali. Zibiru offers a chance to taste the splendor of Italy’s northern and southern regions in a cozy Seminyak oasis. When in Bali, Zibiru will instantly transport you to Italy.

“Authentic Italian in Seminyak”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Fabulous meal eaten on the rooftop with a very pleasant breeze. The owner is extremely friendly (not always the case in Bali) and the food absolutely delicious. The pasta had an amazing flavour of anchovies and all the entrees which we shared were great. It was my first time there but will certainly not be my last. A great find!!

“Real italo-psychedelic experience in Bali”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013 via mobile

We found this restaraunt through tripadvisor and I don't regret the choice. I have been to Italy several times and I can assure you that it's like a plate teleported directly from an authentic italian kitchen topped with "real olive oil" in a pyschadelic environment!

“Fantastic little restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

We went to Kebun after reading a review on trip advisor. It's off the hustle and bustle of the main drag in seminyak which we liked. The owner recommended a Rigatoni salmon pasta that was really good but the pick was the gnocchi norcina. The food was fresh and very tasty. Service was excellent and very friendly. The food is very reasonably priced.

We had eaten earlier in our stay at Ultimo where the food was nice but Kebun is way better.

“Great food and atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

I've been looking for a restaurant that does great home style Italian in Bali for a while now and was happily surprised to find that it was right under my nose the whole time. We had a lovely meal on the roof top in a beautiful setting. Will be back for sure.
