Description: Since opening its doors in August of 2012, Zibiru has garnered a strong loyal following with its made-from-scratch regional Italian cuisine. The restaurant has a bit of everything for everyone, from food enthusiasts to wine lovers, soul and jazz music fans to romantics looking for intimate dining and low conversation. It is a unique meeting point for the five senses, providing a little oasis from the noise and activity in Seminyak. Adorned with authentic details exuding old Bali charm, the restaurant revives the romance of the past with its whitewashed facade, hand-carved wooden interiors and handmade furnishings. The restaurant offers three different dining experiences-al fresco in the garden amidst lush tropical flora, under the stars of the rooftop lounge or in the haven of its non-smoking interior. The menu showcases the best offerings from the field and market-fish arrives fresh daily, bread is homemade on location, pastas are handcrafted from scratch. Organic heirloom vegetables are harvested from Zibiru's own environmentally positive farm in the mountains of Bali. Zibiru offers a chance to taste the splendor of Italy's various regions all under one roof. Live jazz every Wednesday and Saturday.

“simply a perfect place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

This is not simply a restaurant, nor a bar, neither a cafe, it's just a wonderful place which sums all of this together! Starting from the outdoor areas which includes, in addition to a nice garden, a very cozy upstairs terrace where you can seat surrounded by trees- and admiring the moon if you go in the evening. Perfect for romance or for a chat with friends...accompanied by an impeccable music selection thanks to the 2 Italians co-owner Luigi and Simone. But of course the best part still has to come: the FOOD!!!! sorry but as Italian this is a really important point. And this place serves real good Italian food. My favorite is 'linguine alle vongole'. This is the only place in the whole Bali where I can have linguine con le vongole comparable to the one prepared by my mom, and I am not kidding! And in case you are not that hungry Zibiru is also perfect for afternoon tea, for a snack or for a pleasant working session- there is wifi-. Also, and I was almost forgetting, price are very reasonable, especially considering the excellent quality of the food. So next time u go to Bali, make u a favour, and go to Zibiru, it will enrich your spirit and your stomach!;)

“Ottimo !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

I spend a few weeks in Bali over the holidays, xmas and NYE and staid in a villa in JL Drupadi very close to Kedbun Zibiru. So basically ended up going to Kebun Zibiru quite often. Either for bfast, dinner, lunch, or a simple espresso. The food is really excellent. Most of the ingredients are direct imports of the chef. The menu is simple but never boring, and everything is delicious! Also the ambiance is very nice. The terrace is a gem and the garden and dining area are also very cozy and stylish. Definitely recommended!

“A taste of Italy in Bali”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

The beautiful food, ambience, and friendly service made me feel like I was in Italy. I love going to their Jazz Night on Wednesday nights. Sitting in the middle of the restaurant's garden, surrounded by trees and flowers while enjoying the taste of Italian food and listening to the Jazz music, not to mention the cares given by the owners. They actually would greet you and always made sure that you're well taken care of. As we know, not all restaurants would give AAA service to their patrons. So, you better make sure that you don't miss Kebun Zibiru while you're in Bali!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

Excellent location and excellent cuisine in this cozy restaurant, I got to try their various specialties, all very good, but the one that impressed me in a particular way was their pasta with clams, as well as their fried within the local breathes a unique atmosphere and especially in the evenings when the offer jazz.Complimenti their cook, that Luigi who passionately dedicated so that the dishes are on, as well as special, exceptional goodness.
I highly recommend trying this real "gem" in Bali
recommend the place right from the morning breakfast, their desserts are Very Special

“nice quiet spot with fine italian kitchen”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

in quiet jalan drupadi zibiru restaurant offers a brake from the city's moped infested roads. the owner, luigi is an italian chef, established in bali since a few years. he tries to offer fine wine at a decent price considering indonesian's taxes on spirit and among my favourite dishes in the restaurant is the hand made mozzarella (reminds of mediterranean), daily made fresh pasta, and ask what his friends (that come and go now and then) have brought form italy. gorgonzola, truffles, cured prosciutto and fresh vegtables are an alternative to curry rice, spicy noodles and nasi goring! recomended.
prices in line with local standards. very good expresso.
