“Excellent birthdate cake - the red velvet”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

Bought this red velvet in May when travelling to Bali and brought them back for my boyfriend in Jakarta. The whole family loves it! Love the nice cake texture and mascarpone cheese icing - complement each other so well. One of the best red velvet I ever had. Owner Phylis and her husband are awesome too.

TIPS : when bringing the cake on the plane, do ask for a sturdy, taller box or otherwise some of the icing got squished. Otherwise, everything is just great.

“Comfy place with cake to die for”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

If you like cakes then The Coffee House is one of the place to go while you are in Bali.
Joey made amazing cake and he will sit with you and chit and chat while you are at his place. LOL... The coffee is great and especially if you mixed it with Joey's cake.
You should try if you happen in Bali

“Heavenly Red Velvet Cake”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

A friend and I decided to check out this little place after seeing the great reviews on Trip Advisor, and we were not disappointed at all. We took up the offer of cake and coffee for 50,000 rupiahs, the cake was just perfect, not covered in sickly icing, and just moist enough, we also had a great mocha, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the owner made time to ask our opinion on the cake, which he makes himself, great job. Well done, going back today.

“You must try this cafe when you are in Seminyak”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

Time flies. My first visit was last year when on my way to Canggu, I saw the signage SEGAFREDO and i love this coffee. Why not stop and have a cup of coffee. It was not only nice coffee but also the warm greetings from the owner. Last week i dropped by again and had nice Som Tam papaya salad on a hot afternoon. The menu looks good and improving with more interesting dishes. Then I asked if they served fried rice in the morning. The following day I was there for breakfast and that was a good start for the day with a yummy Thai fried rice. Gosh... life is so wonderful. Two days later before I leaved for Jakarta, I went again and this time I had Tom Yum Kung Soup. It cannot be better than that. Follow with nice coffee. The juice is not bad but nothing special.

“Average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

A bit disappointing was dying to try this place. We went for breakfast it was ok my husbands eggs were really undercooked had to return them. We have free breaky in our hotel which is nicer but wanted to get out this morning and try something else . Coffee was nice but very small cups. Probably should have gone for dinner sounds as though the Thai is delicious. (Waitresses were great though. )
