We stayed in L hotel booked through Agoda for 3 nights. The hotel offers a 15USD airport transfer which i urge anyone who plans to stay at L to take up. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were warmly greeted with welcome drinks by the receptionist and hotel manager. We were then rapidly checked in and taken to our room by the butler who showed us the various high tech functions of the room. Of note, the room bears a glass door shower which is ideal for romance but may pose a problem for platonic travellors. All features of the room are well appointed from a king bed with nice firm texture to the kiehl products available. One comment though is the toilet is rather cramp owing to limited space.

The hotel offers daily cocktails (free) between 5-7pm on their roof top terrace which is ideal for socializing with other hoteliers. The plus point are the warm and helpful receptionists! We were greatly helped by their assistance in organizing our daily trips whether it is on the short shuttle hotel provided to seminyak or booking a driver for us for the day. The receptionist were always on hand to assist us with our needs.

The breakfast was also extraordinary. The frenchtoast is a must try from the Rutglers menu.

On our last day, as our flight departed bali late, we asked about the possibility of having a shower after a warm humid day out in kuta and were greatly surprised to be allowed to use one of the empty guest rooms for shower before being driven to the airport to leave this blissful short trip that was made great by the friendly and warm staffs of L hotel.

We stayed for 7 nights in L hotel and really enjoyed our stay here. We really felt it was the little things that made this hotel special. For a start the designer Khiels products are a bonus as is the complimentary mini bar and the complimentary cocktail and canapes in the evening. But our favourite "little thing" was getting a mobile phone we could use to ring the hotel to pick us up from our location in Seminyak. It was excellent and saved us quite a bit of money on taxis.

The food was absolutely amazing too. We had dinner one night in the downstairs restaurant and got the wagyu steak and mushroom risotto. The steak was the best we had ever eaten, so tender and juicy. We also had dinner upstairs overlooking Seminyak and it was also delicious. Definitely make time for dinner in the hotel one night!

The cons were minimal, but the hotel room is quite small and the hotel location isn't right in the action being about a 10-15 minute walk into the main square (the shuttle service does make up for this however). When we arrived they took my credit card to hold a guarantee (which in my previous experience has been about $100 or so) but they held $1400 on my card! A bit excessive I thought, given Seminyak is so well known for its shopping. :)

Overall this is a great hotel, the service is outstanding, food is delicious and it is modern and funky. It is still building a customer base and is relatively new but I have no doubt this will be a buzzing place once the word gets out.

This lovely boutique hotel has the wow effect on us from the moment we step in till our departure back home. the L represent love, live, life, and you can see the words pop up everywhere in the hotel such as the Luna bar where you can enjoy one complimentary cocktails and the complimentary canapés while watching the sunset-absolutely blissful!
The breakfast was heavenly with variety of selection from wagyu beef with rice, fried rice, eggs of all kinds, pancakes to yogurt with granolas.
We stayed for 3 nights at at the luxe suite,the room is so cool and well equipped. We enjoyed the daily complimentary mini bar and the Kiehl's product. The 24/7 butler service was great especially when it was service with smiles. They organized our diving trip to tulamben smoothly.
The free shuttle service around Seminyak is very useful and we can call at anytime for a pick up. They even provide us with a mobile phone to contact them when we need to be pick- up.
We will definitely go back to stay at The L hotel for our future holidays in Seminyak, Bali.

the service was fantastic , the head butler super friendly . manager came to greet us . love the 4 th floor view !! .
The rooms were clean , beds were great . GROHE designed showers . it was like "RAIN" ON MY BACK ! U can also order your customise pillows . Great for romantic couples . breakfast was good food . waygu beef with jasmine rice , the serve them individually ! and the 1 HOUR-PERFECT EGGS . yummy !! we will be back
