After looking through the menu, I noticed a lot of a la carte items and not so many actual "filling" entrees. I opted for the special of the day, Nasi Goreng. I never ever get Nasi Goreng outside of local warungs, but this place was recommended by someone at my gym for healthy and cheap food. I think it was around 45k IDR for the nasi goreng. It came with a generous portion of white meat chicken covered in black sesame and flax seeds. I told the woman (whom I believe is the owner) I was super hungry, and she kindly hooked me up with extra rice. There was a little salad on the side which was a nice touch. Overall, it tasted fresh and healthy, but perhaps a bit plain. The place itself is cozy, with a nice little garden and swimming pool out back as well as wifi. Friendly staff as well. Perhaps next time I will have to try something from their display case.

Dear Tanner
Thank you for coming to Zen Garden and sharing your comments with us. Sorry to hear that you found our Nasi Goreng a bit plain on flavour. Though, this is not our specialty I understand your comment if you just had this dish in local warungs before. This dish has not the intensity of local food in our place, since we use natural and soft spices, and not instant powders and sauces mostly use in more affordable places.
Whenever you have the time, I encourage you to test our specialties (salad buffet and a la carte salads).
Hope to meet you again.
Thanks!
Zen Garden
