“Jas boutique need to maintain your resort properly.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

Just completed my tour to bali. After checking four stars plus at trip advisor i thought that it would be worth staying . Also recommended by one of my friends .The first evening starts like this. You enter your villa fully tired after standing in queue for visa on arrival for almost two hours. (Villa has very good infrastructure. Very good personal pool ,good bathroom , a microwave , a gas stove ,two tv,s and neat surroundings)you plan to cook food on gas stove ur gas stove doesnt work so alternatively u use the microwave. Atleast Saved , then u plan to watch tv in the kitchen while eating food u tv so does not work, then. Plan to take shower in the bathroom ,to ur surprise fountain stops working all f a sudden finally irked by this u call the reception with the mobile phone given by them as they dont have a wired line phone inside the villas, the phone does not have the minimum balance left to continue the call that was connected and the receptionist on the other end doest n bother to call back even though the conversation was ended abruptly.any how ur first day is ruined .As planned earlier i woke up late next day and approached them for half day tour . I asked the driver to clearly take me to nuda dua beach. He takes me to some other beach and says the name of the beach is now changed to padang padang beach which i came to know was not true. Ur second day is also ruined

Room Tip: Rooms are good but service staff lazyv

We absolutely loved our stay at Jas Boutique Villas.
We were amazed when we walked into our villa (no.17) for the first time! It was very clean and had a huge comfy bed. The private pool was awesome - we spent everyday swimming in the pool and lounging on the day bed outside.
The breakfast every morning was beautiful - you got a choice between Asian or American breakfasts...worth trying something new every day. My pick is the Nasi Goreng! :)
The staff are very professional and are always happy to help where possible. We totally enjoyed the free shuttle bus that took you anywhere within Seminyak and only cost $5 to go to Kuta. A mobile phone was given to us, as there was no telephone in the room - this was very handy as you could use it when you needed to be pick up. Overall our stay here was GREAT and definitely would recommend it to other couples! :)

Room Tip: Ask for unit 17 - It was located right next to the spa! ;) Plus it was the furthest away from the fr...

We were most fortunate to stay in villa 11 which can only be described as luxurious. The staff are happy and friendly and attentive to your requirements. There is the odd mosquito but the staff do regularly "fog spray" the area and provide mosquito coils and spray. The location is the key to these villas as they are close to Bintang supermarket, regular taxi's along Jalan Seminyak and good restaurants such as Malos and Marzanos. A complimentary mobile phone was provided to contact reception and can easily be turned off to ensure peace and quiet. We used the kitchen to eat breakfast which was from a selectable menu .

Travelled with my boyfriend in the first week of December.

Villa is roughly 40mins taxi ride from the airport which cost us around 100,000RP. The road leading to the Villa wasn't easy to identify due to the small signage by the road side. Receptionist at the front desk was very polite and provided awesome service. Our room have actually been prepared before the stipulated check in time. We were also given a mobile phone to contact the front desk for any issues or to arrange pick up outside of the villa after our shopping. Villa also provides shuttle services to different places in Seminyak (eg. Seminyak Square).

Villa 16 was our home for the duration we were in Bali. It was located beside the road and 2 units from the spa. The rooms were clean and fresh. Special amenities were prepared as it was a special request from us. The pool was clean and towels were provides on the day bed. There were some constructions going in the room next door which they had scaffolding erected which reduces the amount of privacy that we have by the pool. During the night, there are flies that would fly into the pool due to the reflection of light. The housekeeping did not clean the flies out of the pool hence, we only used the pool for first hour we got our room. The room was clearly constructed for sunny weather as December was the rainy season and when it rains, the rain water would seep through the main door to our room and start flooding the interior. The shelter above the main door was enough to block out the sun but not the rain. There wasn't any shelter for the kitchen, thus we had flooding issues in both our room and the kitchen. There isn't a drainage system for the water in the pool if it gets too much as due to two nights of continuous rain, on our last day the pool was flooding out to the pavement leading into the pool.

The breakfast was probably one of the best thing at the hotel as we were given a menu of food to select for our breakfast the next day. It has a wide selection and we managed to try all of the different combination of the food on the menu. There wasn't any favourite as all the breakfast were awesome.

Before we left, we can even use the television to check out our flight status! One good way to make sure that we won't be arriving at the hotel too early.

Overall, the stay is pleasant! We would recommend the hotel if you're looking for a quiet place to just relax and some slight exploration.

Room Tip: Get the room away from the road and not near the spa!

Love the room and the private pool. The villa was cleanThe bathroom was huge,i think probably few sq feet smaller than the room. The kitchen provided all necessities but it was not connected to the room you had to go out of the room to get to the kitchen. The pool was about 1.5m deep and may not be suitable for children. All are fine but few things that we were not pleased with;1) the mosquitoes- they do provide insect repellent,2) they breakfast menu- thought the put in the form 'pick one menu for one person' but they ended up giving you only one serving if you pick same menu for both. The menus was not much but it was okay la.. 3) If you want to walk to the town, the villa was quite far from the main street, approximately 0.3 km and it' s quite scary to walk to the town at night. 4) beach?? Far from beach... If you want something near to the beach this may not be you first choice. Privacy wise is good but for beach pleasure seekers, this might not be in your top list.
Free shutlle to the town and cellphone fot you to contact the front desk if you need anything because they didn't provide phone in the room. There were only 18 villa including one for spa.overall the stay at jas villas was great.

very worth to stay in this Jas Boutique Villas.. It's clean, quiet, nice, free shuttle around seminyak, free wifi (with strong signal), Handphone provided(use it to call for the shuttle bus and whenever u need any services from the staff), nice breakfast, nice private pool (but it's a bit too deep) and of cause nice and friendly staff..
not forget to mention even the villas is private but we found someone was peeking into our villa over the wall next door.. after a while (few second), he disappear and this is the only thing that make me feel uncomfortable.. i guess he might be the guest next door :( and this make me a bit upset for the stay..
