The reason drop has the best tasting coffee is they use a mix of beans from Brasil and Columbia.
Anomali and some others have Sumatran, Java mix which can be a little bitter or astringent. In my opinion beans from South America always taste better because they have the right growing conditions. I like my coffee strong and I've also found that the milk used can effect the taste, so I get a double shot or strong and half full with milk...that seems to be about the right dose so that the milk is not over powering.
So, that's why I go to Drop.... it tastes the best in Bali!!
