So I finally went to this much hyped spot on Seminyak beach. Its location on top of Anantara hotel is, to say the least, ideal. However, if I were to be the executive chef or management team of this establishment; I should be more than concerned regarding the quality of its food.
It advertises designer dining, but when I went there, no sign of dining business was evident.
My companions and I decided to enjoy the libation and light food instead; typical cocktail list, but not so reasonable prices (USD$13 avg) and a tapas menu only (at least that was what's given to us). The cocktails....typical, espresso martini (decent and strong), Moscow mule (predictable), however, when it comes time to savour the tapas style food........S.O.S! The red pepper hummus and eggplant dip, tasteless. The Roast duck in rice paper concoction, nauseating. The mixed sate, was very good.
The ambience.....while a great view of the sunset over the Indian ocean from app.50ft up was great, but its cold and stiff decor made it boring real fast!
The service, well.....decent as there is not much to it.
The verdict - unless you're here by yourself, trying to escape the world and stare into a sea of nothingness.....this is the place!

Founded this restaurant by tripadvisor, which says it's like steakhouse and club. So - place located on the roof of hotel, our taxist never knew it, we had few stops before founded it. Great view from the restaurant, but was windy. Very tasty compliment sushi, no draft beer, steak was just ok - not super tasty. And it's expensive for place like this one in my opinion.

Awesome views from the top of the hotel, and really good food. They had a beautiful lounge singer on Wed night who sounded better that Nora Jones. Some tables get wet if it rains but luckily we were under the glass roofed area.

The food was great. The location was stunning by viewing ahead to the ocean. The steak, the drinks and the tapas are great. Beautiful venue indeed. The price was OK equal with the offered view and service. A very must try for everyone of you that love fine dining with ease.
