“Nyepi package”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2014

We received a cheap package on email so decided to spend Nyepi there. If we had paid full price we would have been very unhappy. The lagoon villas are in need of serious maintenance. The furniture was sparse and uncomfortable.
The staff were very friendly and the spa treatment was one of the best I've had. The food was also very good.
I would not recommend the Lagoon rooms for anyone with knee problems as stairs very steep with a very low banister and the toilet was downstairs while bed was up.

Room Tip: Room 403 as it is not directly opposite another room. Our room looked directly into another room if...

We stayed here for 4 nights in a Grand Deluxe Pool Villa. It was fantastic. Beautifully kept, and our own private pool and spa. The villa's garden was huge, as were the rooms. The kitchenette was very handy. To top it off, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The estate is quite large, meaning that the roadway is quite a distance away. However, there are buggies available to drop off and pick up. A great stay.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 510 and can recommend this villa.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!
We stayed at Villa Seminyak for 10 nights (25/12/13 - 3/1/2014), in a Grand deluxe Villa.
Staff were all outstanding, smiles and pleasant greetings every time we passed them, no mater how little English they spoke. Reception could not do enough to help us, so happy to assist in every situation.
The pool was clean and maintained daily, the room was serviced daily, the grounds inside our private villa were swept and maintained daily.
Comfortable king sized bed, 2 air conditioners, clean water dispensing unit for drinking water, huge bathroom, with awesome shower and bath.
In house spa treatment was amazing - way ahead of an Aussie massage and facial!
We had a wonderful stay (only downfall was the 2 days of solid rain), and will be returning as soon as possible!

Room Tip: Room # 506 Ask about a private driver/car - don't bother with the hassle of taxis

I'll start with the good points in this hotel. Central location in seminyak, great customer service, good choice of room options, secure site, fantastic spa, reasonable prices in the restaurant. Free filtered water fountain which is bliss in a place with dodgy water. Royal villa is a great size with some special offers currently on web. iPod doc provided which is always a good touch and pool was very nice. All staff fantastic, very helpful with great English (always embarrassing when we realise another culture that can speak 3 languages fluently vs our 1). Do a day trip, talk to airport pickup driver for reasonable prices.

Most of the bad points apply to Bali in general so don't let these put you off as in my opinion this hotel is a good choice in anyone's book.

The quality of food in the restaurant is average, the in room BBQ also falls into this category. The royal villa in which we stayed really needs a fan or aircon in the open living room as it can be quite toasty in the evening. Lots of mosquitoes, lizards and even spotted a rat. This is typical of Bali from what I can tell so we weren't put off. The open bathroom isn't pleasant and smells a bit. No gym but spa makes up for it.

AMAZING! It was our first visit to Bali, and after having villa seminyak estate recommended to us by our travel agent we booked the royal villa for my boyfriend,2 friends and I. From the second we got there we were greeted with smiles everywhere & a much needed ice cold drink! On arrival we were advised that our villa had a small issue with the pool and we were given the option of 2 other villas to stay in until the problem was fixed, we decided to stay at there sister villa 2 minutes away and loved it! They did everything they could and still couldn't get the pool ready so they offered us the highest upgrade of the presidential villa which was AMAZING! We loved the villa and the staff were amazing! No request was to much for them, a special thank you to the beautiful Ratna and Ari & Oka! The villa was so clean and comfortable and relaxing from the moment we walked in! Central to everywhere, and the spa and massage treatments were brilliant! We loved it here and can't wait to come back. Thank you everyone at villa seminyak estate you made out stay feel like home!

My husband & I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a 6 night stay in Grand Deluxe One Bedroom Pool Villa 508. Very romantic & relaxing with our own private pool. The Villa itself was spacious with a HUGE bathroom with bath & shower. Large living area with beautiful 4 post bed and outside "open air" style kitchen/dining area. Having drinking water available from a water cooler was an added bonus also. The Villa was cleaned daily along with the pool and garden and sprayed every evening for mosquitoes. Our package included breakfast daily (the banana pancakes are to die for), a lunch in the restaurant for 2 and also a 1hr massage for 2. The Spa complex was lovely - we also had pedicures.
The staff were friendly, courteous & polite and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Getting buggies to and from breakfast and out to the main street was alot of fun - again the staff were amazing.
I would highly recommend this Villa Estate - it was a peacefully sanctuary away from the hustle & bustle - and would definitely stay there again.

This resort could be worlds away from the hustle and bustle of the main street of Seminyak. Once you leave the main street and walk through the laneways to the resort you leave all the hustle and bustle behind. We stayed here at the last minute (having moved from a less desirable hotel) so we had a lagoon villa. While not the biggest villa, it was adequate as we didn't spend much time in the room, and there was the novelty of being able to step from the lounge area into the lagoon style pool. From the time we arrived, we found the staff to be extremely helpful. Our first room was near reception with the potential to be noisy. When we asked to be shifted, the staff weren't at all fazed. They shifted us to the far end of the lagoon where we couldn't hear any noise from reception. The only problem comes from guests in adjoining villas - if they are noisy you are liable to hear them. Our breakfast was included in the room rate and I have to admit that the banana pancakes were the best part of the breakfast. They were made to order and were light and very flavoursome.
I have to mention the guests service manager, Ratna. She was most helpful and went out of her way to greet us whenever she saw us and helped book taxis, spas etc. I would recommend this resort and would probably try to stay in one of the Royal Villas. We were shown through one of these and it looked ideal for a family, having it's own private pool.

Room Tip: Royal and executive villas are more private
