“Wonderful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

I arrived at the hotel at 2 am due to a delayed flight. Oka was waiting to greet me with a lovely smile, he made me feel so welcome. I stayed there 18 nights, on the second floor overlooking the pool, rice fields, watched the locals work the fields, build a hut and a magnificent pyramid structure. Watching the sun rising in the east and setting in the west, a lovely comfortable bed, cool air con and a big shower. Food was lovely and a good range to choose from. All the staff were excellent, the best service I have ever had in all my stays in Bali. Reception staff to name a few, Pritta, Oka, Tata, Hendra were so great always smiling and had time for a friendly chat even though they were so busy tending to the never ending stream of visitors from Asia and Europe. Dewa and Hendri Lei, took time to speak with guests to ensure they were happy with the service, thank you all for taking such good care of me look forward to seeing you in the future. Felt so safe there as the security staff were there 24 x 7, thanks guys. Kura Kura bus how good is that, service with a smile and a friendly chat to and from the hotel, it goes all round Kuta and out to Sanur, Nusa Dua, Ubud for a minor charge better than using a taxi to go everywhere. Great hotel, staff that take so much pride in their careers it was like been at home it was so relaxing. Good luck to all of you and see you soon.

Room Tip: Higher floors with a balcony looking out over the pool and rice fields, they have a lift no worries...

By far i think this is the best of Fave hotel chains all over the country. The rooms are small but the beds were so comfortable and the paddy rice field view was great. The air conditioning was cold enough, the bathroom was clean and spacious enough, staffs were friendly, polite, and flexible to guests' requests. They were willing to work out some of early check ins and outs without hesitation. The doors and walls are pretty thin, so you can hear anyone talking or walking by the aisle pretty clearly from the room.
Pretty good price for a budget hotel with such top notch level of services. Having a convenient store right next to it is also a plus point too

Also i held an event in bali and booked 40+ rooms for my guests here, they were all satisfied! This is why i would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Bali especially Seminyak are.

it was a good budget hotel..fair price..clean small room, clean shower..although breakfast is a little bit dissapointing, they could have improved the quality of the food..but we have been warned by some of the review about the breakfast..
anyway, you get what you paid for...location is quite far, but if you rent a motorbike or a car it shouldn't be a problem..if you just need a place to sleep and shower this is hotel is a good choice..

I ordered 3 rooms and arrived very early (10.00). I asked for an early check-in, even single room will do, and they gave me 3 rooms early check in. Ordered via favehotel's website and got a very good price! I didn't read that they won't charge the room via credit card, instead the credit card is just for room guarantee (so we really got the room), quite confused at first and doubted the explanation, so we paid in cash and continue our stay. Nevertheless, they explain it happily and the staff is very kind to explain all of the detail. Small room, but had a great sleep, air conditioner we're very cool (love it so much). I think Favehotel Umalas is the best Favehotel in Bali! They even got a great outdoor pool and some garden to hang around! Will surely come back in another Bali visit!

Room Tip: Choose higher floor and the pool view side.

As i arrived in my room, I was using the bathroom and I found a used wet towel hanging behind the door. They should've have some kind of check list or something whenever they clean up the room. Hope it won't happened again in the near future. But the service was quite good though.

eventhought we only stayed at this hotel for a night, but we had a wonderful stay. Friendly staff, nice decoration, wonderful room (but too bad no view), and also we loved the breakfast, they provide various menu with good taste. The hotel has a beautiful pool but we didnt get a chance to try the pool, maybe next time.

I reached this hotel at about 9pm to check-in and they were obviously pretty friendly and hospitable. I loved the room. It was pretty and petite. I was travelling solo so I loved the comfort of the place. For a decent pay, the hotel has a beautiful pool. The breakfast was okay. As I took the standard room, the balcony didn't have any good view at all. I am not sure how it must have been for the others though. I didn't crib too much because I was there just for a night. On that count, I really liked the place. It is a little far from the beach and I kind of regretted not taking a hotel closer to it but then most of those were full or too expensive so I had to settle with this place. However, I really wasn't disappointed or anything. It was a good comfortable stay. Although, if you have more money, find something better ;)
