“simple, clean, very helpfull staff, great location & unbelievable value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2012

My daughter and I needed budget accomodation for a short stay in Bali, I usually stay at the up market Seminyak hotels but this time we just needed a room for a few nights. We were surprised that we got the room with breakfast so cheap (booked online $124.00 for 3 nights with b/fast for both of us) the hotel is the older style, with simple clean rooms, very, very helpfull staff and a basic b/fast,( toast, eggs, fruit, noodles, tea & coffee & juice)
The pool area is great and the location is unbelievable, just behind Ultimo & opposite the Mutiara. We requested a DVD player which was supplied free as was the trip to the Airport!
A surprisingly pleasant stay, highly recommended for budget minded travellers.

We booked and paid for this hotel in advance and were unable to check out for 3 days. If we could have we would have gone sooner. Nothing that you could really put your finger on but there are other hotels nearby with beautiful restaurants, smiling staff and much better value.

Dont expect a five star hotel but is has great value for the money. Good service, clean and only a 15 min walk to the beach.

After staying at many places in Bali, we found the seminyak village great value for money! Upon arrival we said we were on our honeymoon and the staff upgraded us and even had a surprise for us that night! It is a cheap hotel and you can not expect it to be like a 5 star!!!!
Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was limited but lovely, pool was clean and quiet! We would stay here again!!! About 200m behind ultimos which was great for us as we have been in Bali for nearly a month and didn't want to get hassled!

We stayed one night at the beginning of our trip and the staff were lovely, couldn't do enough for us, the room was old but clean & fresh beds too! We then went to another location (5 star) where we were prebooked with a group, & on our way back we were booked in at Legian BUT we quickly checked out of there and went & spent our last couple of days back at the village. It was like returning home!! The staff greeted us warmly & welcomed us back, they remembered our children by names! Nothing was a hassle for them! Our departure flight was late at night & they offered us the use of the room etc for half price and then took us to the airport at 9:30 in the evening. The food in the quaint little restaurant was great! (we ate there each night). We will definitely stay again except next time we intend to spend our entire holiday there! (found this place as good as the 5 star we stayed in but in different ways) - highly recommend!!
