4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

Quiet and relax place for family and friends. If one is looking for privacy, this villa has it all.

The room is also spacious and airy. However, the pool is definitely not for swimming due to the size but its good enough for a relaxed dip and jacuzzi.

Pantry area is also large especially for families who loves cooking.

Last but not least, The beach nearby also provides serenity. However, the area is not shopping friendly but its still within walking distance.

Stayed from the 18th-28th December 2012. Walking into our villa at night for the first time took our breath away, absolutely beautiful. Rooms, pool, kitchen everything was excellent. Staff were unbelievably friendly and accommodating. Breakfast delivered to the villa is a beautiful way to start the day. Loved the surrounding area, beautiful restaurants ( especially naughty nuri's), a little shopping but a quick drive into seminyak square was well worth it. Every accommodation has something that would of should of could of had and bali aroma is no different but they aren't worth mentioning and are our personal views. We loved it, it was quiet place to escape the hussle of kuta etc . I can recommend Bali Aroma without hesitation. The biggest asset is their staff :) we are coming back in April 2013 and have booked the same villa!!

Room Tip: 2 bedroom villa was perfect for our family of 4.

Paved laneway down the gang to the villas. Large entry to accomodate more than one arriving/departing guests. Beautiful gardens and quite tranquil location. My husband and I are frequent visitors to Bali and this has been a really relaxing place to stay. We loved that we could hear the ocean yet we weren't disturbed by motorbikes. We like the open plan style villa and accept the creatures that live in the tropics so aren't fazed at all by the bats and geckos. Everything seemed so big from the garden and pool area, the bedroom and especially the bathroom. I noticed that you didn't get the "smell " coming up from the drains in these villas. I would of liked more hangers in the wardrobe and some where to hang the handtowels near the sink but these are only small things. The bed was comfortable and had mosquito nets. We ate in our villa for breakfast each morning and found it more than enough to start our day. The location just off Jalan Batu Belig was very close to the beach and as stated in previous reviews there is a large variety of restaurants nearby. We always take a business card with the villas name and address with us when using taxis, most know where Naughty Nuri's is so it's helpful to mention them. The staff were lovely and the two front desk managers service was exceptional. Usually each time we visit Bali we stay somewhere different but I am certain we will return for another delightful stay at Aroma.

Room Tip: Take note if there is any construction work nearby and ask where the staff areas are as they have ea...

I have travelled to many places in Asia but for some reason never to Bali. Boy what a mistake.

Bali is a very easy direct 5 hour flight from Brisbane. Leave at 10.30 am Bris.time and at around 4pm Bali time you are sitting in your private 2 bedroom pool villa. This place Bali Aroma is out of this World. The decor is simple but hey its a villa at the beach. The rooms are huge, the pool is deep, clean and so refershing i am missing it all ready. You have private sound proof rooms with Balinese style outside shower and bath which is so cool it ain't funny. The kitchen is open plan with full size fridge. There is a room safe and dvd with LCD tv in both rooms.

The thing that really makes this place heaven is the staff. Everybody speaks great English and are genuine in wanting to make your stay an outstanding experience. My wife and myself stayed with our 15 year old daughter and her firiend who both thought they had died and gone to heaven. The grounds are secure, green, clean and very well maintained. In fact the whole Villa complex is VERY well maintained and loved beyond what i have come to experience in similar places in S.E .Asia..

The beach is 2 minutes away but is just ok by Gold Coast standards but there are other beaches minutes away in a $4.00 cab ride.

The food at the Villa was outstanding and there are great restautrants, shops, banking and beauty services minutes away. Kuta. Legian and Seminyak are very easy to get to as are the other main Bali attractions.

For a 2 bedroom Private pool villa with breakfast for 4, free transfers both ways i paid the very fair price of $250.00 per night. If you have teenagers , getting 2 rooms in a noisy, over priced generic resort will cost you over $500.00 per night. Forget it and really try this place as i would be surprised if you do not go back.

I am back in March and can not wait. I really had a great hoilday and i thank Ronie and his team for making our family part of theirs. What i really like about this palce is i was called by my first name Wayne and not called sir or Mr.Wayne which annoys me as i find it condercending.

Well done Bali, i love you

Bali Aroma has the most peaceful serene atmosphere. Definately a place to stay if you wish for serenity, quiet, peacefulness & with beautiful very helpful staff.
The common grounds are beautiful, they have the feeling of being in a beautful big garden. There are day beds for relaxing throughout. The gardens within the villas are simple yet elegant. The villas are beautifully maintained, with outdoor bathroom.
Breakfast was delicious and always on time & could be served from 7am - one morning we were being picked up at 7am, when the staff found that out the cook came in and had our breakfast ready for us at 6am!! Fantastic!!
Mozzies weren't too bad, the staff would spray the bedroom just before sundown when they came around to turn on the air con (not that it was needed!) and the lights for our return to the villa.
I have been to Bali a number of times and this was by far the best accommodation I've ever stayed at.
Highly recommended, we will definately return and recommend others to stay at Bali Aroma.

If you are looking for a very relaxed, laid-back, peaceful villa that comes with good service, this is one of the must try villas in Seminyak!

My husband and i had been on our European honeymoon and wanted a very chill and relax environment for the second one. Hence, this villa for a 4D3N escapade!

Service:
Bali Aroma Villas service was excellent! Emails correspondence was efficient. Their staffs, namely Netty and Agus was very friendly and made us comfortable upon arrival.

The Villa:
It is exactly a 'what-you-see-and-what-you-get' villa. The photos on the net depicts an exact environment while you are there. However, expect some rusty towel railings and cookstove/microwave. At night, we do have uninvited guests, the bats that will fly freely in the villa and the kitchen area. Not much of a disturbance if you're in your villa the whole time and keep doors closed.

Facilities/Amenities:
Safe - Not so safe as it indicated battery low. So what we did when we went out of the villa was to keep all valuables in our luggage and lock them up.

Hangers - Only 2 were provided which was not sufficient for our towels (considering the rusty railings) and also for our other clothings.

Wifi - Connection was good unless it rained. There's bad distruption on rainy days.

Private pool - Cleaned daily and gives you complete privacy. Enjoyed the dip and the swim plus our suntanning.

Open concept bathroom - Something different to experience. If you dont love outdoor and insects (mosquitoe, lizards etc), you may not really enjoy this. But at night, the stars will amaze you.

TV - Provided really good channels. Just like Starhub cable tv back in SG. Thumbs up for this!

Breakfast:
Day one breakfast was overwhelming. We were given choices to pick our kind of breakfast (american/oriental/balinese). But come day two and three, the more we chose the lesser we got. Abit disappointing for this. However, food was tasty.

Environment:
Feels safe and homely. Except for some persistent mosquitoes that haunt you. But once you lit up the coils, it's fine. And beware if you hear 'gunshot-like-sounds' at night. Those are fireworks! It was a good sight, though we were quite alarmed the first night we hears of those.

Surroundings: Tried Nuri's restaurant outside the villa along the main road. Quite good quantity of food and tasty! There's also a seafood restaurant further up from Nuri's. Minimarts to get some drinks or snacks. Conveniently situated and about 5-10mins taxi ride to Seminyak or Kuta.

Overall, good experience. May comeback for a return trip. Thank you Bali Aroma for the great experience!

This place is amazing!
The villa is spacious, beautiful and has a traditional aesthetic but is totally modern. Just divine! Outside bathrooms luxury.
We came with 2 kids and they happily played while we lounged and read books.
Breakfast delivered on time and was of good quality and variety
Day bed, pool, staff, grounds, everything wonderful. Will definately come back!
