Having been to Lestari when they were at the Umulas Stables, we decided to give the new restaurant a try. It's now in JL Drupardi near the Raya Seminyak end. The setting is not as beautiful as the old restaurant but is very pleasant and it will be in a good position once all the new buildings in the area are complete in about a year, maybe less. When it has more customers, I'm sure it will have more atmosphere but at the moment, it is rather bland- there's no buzz! Food wise, it has a medium sized menu focusing on meat which is average to good quality at medium prices. As with all restaurants in Bali, the minute you add a drink and a bottle of wine, the bill adds up. For us, 3adults- 2 cocktails, 3 mains and a bottle of wine=A$90.
Service was good but in an empty restaurant, so it should be.
Would we go back? Probably not but maybe....
With so many choices of places to eat, we are probably more likely to try another one which will tick more boxes!
