“Great place for privacy and to get away from it all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

Nice little getaway with your very own private pool. Service was great as breakfast is served in your room daily. The pool was a bit small for serious swimming but it's good enough for some gentle exercising.

It's located near the beach, practically within walking distance so it's great to go there in the evening to watch the sunset.

Free wifi is always something i look for and Seiryu has it.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would give them top marks for making my stay a great one.

If you need to eat something, hop next door to Lestari Grill & Pasta. Search it on tripadvisor and you'll want to visit it on your next trip.

We had been recommended to the Seiryu Villas by friends who had stayed there a few times. After spending 10 days here, we understand why they keep coming back.
Location: close to the beach, Gado Gado restaurant and generally a great central spot to walk anywhere in Seminyak. Just off the main road, so limited road noise. No pubs next door, so no all night music. Lestari restaurant next door is a gem.
Villa: very clean, spacious, well appointed, bed was huge (and I'm 6'3"), a private oasis.
Staff: always very helpful, super polite and courteous.
Meals/Room Service: good quality and sizable breakfasts. Assisted us with set-up for entertaining some friends for pre-dinner drinks in our villa.
As a final gesture of their amazing service, every one of the staff came out and said goodbye to us on our departure to the airport. We were very touched by this. We loved it here and definitely be back.

Room Tip: Royal Villas are great - don't know about the other rooms.

What an amazing place. We stayed here for 2 weeks at the beginning of November. I have been to Bali many times but it was my partners first time. I couldn't have found a better place to stay and will definitely be back.

The staff were incredible, friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make you feel at home, not in a hotel. The villas are in a great location, slightly tucked away from the busy main streets and only a short 5-10 min walk to the beach and those amazing sunsets. Our Villa A4, was at the very end of only 8 villas, a great feature as its never busy and we hardly saw another guest the whole time in any of the villas. The high walled courtyard gave us the privacy we desired but allowed all the sun in to our private pool, cabana and deck. The interiors were modern, stylishly simple and very comfortable, the air conditioning was ice cold (much needed with the high humidity) and the bed is much bigger than a standard king bed size in Australia and one of the most comfortable beds we've stayed on in a hotel/villa.

Breakfast each morning was delivered on time and at a time you select and a portion of it prepared onsite in the villa, a nice touch. The room service menu was varied with some very nice options. A special feature of this place is the BBQ they prepare next to your pool inside your villa. We weren't sure about this as there are so many great places to eat in Seminyak and it seemed a bit of a gimmick, BUT oh my goodness, it was so lovely. We had the BBQ on one of the last nights and wished we'd discovered this little romantic treat earlier, we'd have had it more than once.

I really can't say enough about the villas, the location and most importantly the staff. I was genuinely saddened to leave when our time came to head to the airport. The upside is, we are heading back early next year and I know we will be staying here again.

Were were collected from the airport and discovered at reception that our villa was not quite ready so they offered us a meal and drinks, then an hour long massage each in the Vitamin Organic Spa next door. Very nice after a long flight. Once inside our villa we were amazed how spacious it was. Lounge, dining and kitchen area, and large bedroom - both areas with flat screen TVs. King size bed was super comfortable. Great bathroom which opened out onto the lap pool. Outdoor area with sun beds and shade umbrella, and also large day bed in a separate shaded area, very comfortable. We didn't get any noise from adjoining villas, and the sound of the water feature cascading into the pool was very relaxing. Breakfasts were served in the villa and were OK. Staff were always very friendly and helpfull, making dinner reservations and recommendations. Location is a bit of a walk to Seminyak beach and there are a couple of sun lounges available a bit up the beach if you can find them. All in all our five days here were very relaxing.

From check in to check out, The Seiryu Villa and its staff took very good care of us, excelling with their conscientious approach. My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom pool villa (A2) for three nights in late October. The hotel itself has a beautiful feel about it, very well maintained (just like the photos on the website). Great access to the beach (about a 10min walk) and close to the main shopping area (just a small taxi ride away). It was really quite refreshing to stay in a place with Japanese design with touches of Bali throughout, the pool area in the villa was especially beautiful. Our bed was huge and we found it super comfy. The pool area was completely private. The breakfast was good, although a little inconsistent (sometimes forgetting toast etc).
All in all we had a lovely time and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a little indulgence and some peace and quiet. One thing the staff could improve on is the communication between guest and front of house, but apart from that we found it a 'great stay!'.

Unique villa concept, beautiful modern designed villa with Japanese theme based on the four seasons. Each seasons will have different colour themes and the hotel staffs will explain story behind every design elements which is interesting.

The reception area is small and cozy but beautiful decorated with florals, paintings and there's an area cover with stone craving, sands and jade lookalike items. The device is excellent, attentive, friendly and helpful which make us feel very at ease and welcome!

The villa is not huge, good size and quite compact. They have everything you need in a villa and all necessarities. Upon entering, you have a small pouch area with a day bed and sun chairs by the pool. Inside the villa, there a living room with a huge tv, sofa is comfortable, aircon is working well!

As for the bedroom, it Is huge and comfortable with a big TV in front of the bed, great for viewing, good distance. The bathroom has a shower area and a bathtub that can lead you directly to the pool, very cool and convenient!

As for the kitchen, it is quite big, they have a dining area and a well equipped kitchen that you can do the cooking! The breakfast and room service food were well presented and delicious! A great place to relax and enjoy!

But location wise, not so ideal. Far from the central of Seminyak.
