The look of this restaurant is what initially lured us in, Chandi has a very stylish interior and chilled-out vibe. More importantly, the menu looked interesting and I’m very glad we managed to get a table for dinner, despite not having a reservation. The food is stunning, dishes are well thought-out and the service was also attentive and swift. We had the pepper crab dumplings for starters, which were excellent. For mains, we had the roasted pork belly and spicy river prawns, the presentation of both dishes was very attractive and they tasted great. Three generous slices of rolled pork belly were presented with delicious bits of crackling and a nice accompaniment of Chinese broccoli. The river prawns however look huge on the plate but of course by the time you’re done cleaning the shell off them, there’s not much left so perhaps isn’t the best choice if you’re very hungry. Prices were very reasonable for the fine dining quality of food. Overall excellent, would go back.
