This family run restaurant has not changed in years. Do not be put off by the dated decor the service is warm and friendly and the food is really good. My favourite is the schnitzel with a choice of sauces, but the fillet I recently had we spectacular. Montecello is always busy with regular, local customers - always a good sign. Though famous for their espatada, there is lots of choice on the menu. The husband/chef is utterly consistent, serving a large number of excellent meals of a consistently high standard. I can recommend Montecello highly, go for a drink at the bar then settle in for a delicious meal. You will become a fan.
