“Nice Venue, Tasty Food, Great Chef.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

This is a lovely venue more suited to a lazy lunch or brunch over the weekend. It is a laid back venue for the entire family, with okay service, but who cares on a lazy sunshine day. Food is well presented and tasty - don't expect a huge menu but what they offer is great and certainly their special of the day is something 'special'.

“Great Beer in a perfect setting!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

This place is stunning, in between plum orchards and vineyards at the foot of the mountain, a great idea and something different. Quite a drive along a gravel road to get there, but the cold beer and beautiful setting waiting for you at the end is well worth it! The beer is really good and I'm quite impressed with the fact that they make the beer from their own mountain spring water!

We also had lunch. Don't expect a gourmet or fine dining experience, but a typical pub menu with Enchilada's, Nachos, burgers etc that is all freshly prepared and served with a smile. (This is a brewery after all!) We were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite busy, but still our food and drink was delivered in no time.

Will definitely be back for a beer or 2!

“Unusual”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

This was our 2nd visit. The first was dinner about 2 years ago with a roaring bonfire outside and was amazing - food, beer, service everything. This 2nd visit was a little disappointing but I think that was because it was just too busy. Certain meals were no longer available as ingredients were finished and others, well you could see the chef had made a plan ... It was Wine on the River weekend and I think it was unusually busy. Don't let this 2nd visit of ours put you off - it is a lovely place and great for kids too.

“Saggy Stone Restaurant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

If it's busy when you get there rather turn around. We enjoyed the beautiful view and their unique beer. We were there on a Sunday and they were very busy, we had no problem to wait for a table. But when our food came there were a lot of things we ordered they didn't have and they weren't very helpful when we send back two plates of Nachos with raw chicken (the order was beef). I've heard a lot of great things from this place but unfortunately I was disappointed.

“Great beer, good food and awesome location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013 via mobile

This little place is great. It is situated in a stunningly quiet and beautiful area. Their beers are good, the food is tasty and well presented and the service was good. We held a birthday party there and they were very acompanying and flexible. Well done! Definitely a must if you're in the area.
