“The must-visit restaurant i Cape Town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013 via mobile

Everything was perfect, drinks, food, service and atmosphere made us all very satisfied!

We were seated outdoors in the garden, due to late reservation, but it was still a perfect with the touareg canvas and nice lightsetting!

The service was excellent allthough he blushed a little when my wife orders a Latino lover as the welcomedrink!

“What else to say... besides... PERFECTION”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

Kitima is right next to a rather small township in Hout Bay, which could be a bit weird to some guests. You have to make a booking in advance. But as soon as you are inside, it is simply PERFECT. Very stylish place, really awesome food, a stunning bar with great cocktails, very good waiters. You will enjoy every second!!! Quite pricy for South Africa, but it is absolutely worth it!

Every time we are in Cape Town, at least one dinner is booked!!!

“Eastern delights”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

This is one of my absolute favorites . Excellent service, superb food and fantastic ambience. My friend and I popped in for dinner during the week and the vibe was as good as the weekend. We sat in the bar area in the lounge seating. Our first course was the Tom Yum Goong soup. It's a spivey seafood soup with mushrooms and lemongrass . Fabulous. For mains we shared the Paad Thai Pak - a rice noodle dish with seasonal veg. It's sounds boring but it is delicious. The other dish was Pla Neng Ma Naom , a steamed fish dish in chilli, lime and ginger. We had a perfect evening . I have had a Bithday party here too and they did a stunning set menu of the most amazing dishes. Plus the have a Sunday lunch buffet which is also well worth a try!

“Very Cool Bar and Restaurant Venue in Hout Bay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

Very cool bar and good eats:

Behind the Cape Dutch facade of this building hides a renowned restaurant and very chick Asian style bar.

We enjoyed both - the drinks and the food, which was unpretentious but very high quality. An eclectic mix of different Asian cuisines but authentic all the same. (we skipped the authentic hotness of some of the classic thai dishes).

“fab food & service !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

What a terrific experience. It is rare for me to experience excellent food, service and ambience under one roof. Jacques served us for the evening and offered an impeccable service. Cocktails were yummy! Food arrived on time and was piping hot, of a high standard & cooked to perfection. The menu offers an extensive choice and very good value for the standard. It is no wonder you have to prebook a week ahead to get a table. I will be visiting on a regular basis for sure and highly recommend.
