Put simply, the town of Franschhoek is beautiful and Bo La Motte is even more beautiful. We were blown away by the quality and country charm of Milkwood cottage, it is simply gorgeous and I could have spent the rest of my life there, nestled in between the vine plantations and little planted garden, surrounded by the majestic mountains with their own 'tablecloths' on top. Lindi came down to meet us (on crutches!) and was very warm and friendly in her approach, despite the poor lady having to hobble down from the farm. We ate in on the night then stoked up the log fire and tested the local wine - wow, all was completely fantastic!! The town is an easy 10 mins stroll away and offers everything you could need. Thanks to Lindi and the beautiful accommodation, our stay at Bo La Motte was simply wonderful. Do yourself a favour and book it. I recommend it to everyone looking for something special in the wine region.
