“One night in Angala”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

Newly-weds started their honeymoon trip here one Sunday night in November.
Beautiful setting within the mountains & vineyards. The location is near perfect, as it is far away from the city and its noise, yet it is only a couple of minutes drive to the airport.
Rooms were well decorated, very neat & clean! Love the bathroom & outdoor shower! Gardens are beautiful and well maintained.
Staff went above & beyond for us, a big thank you to them all.
I will visit again!

My Wife Candice and I stayed for 1 Night, we were meant to stay 2 but unfortunately My wife is pregnant and ill so we only managed to escape for the night.
From arrival to when we left, wow what an experience and an absolute pleasure. Ann and the Team are so professional and friendly, we got back to our Villa after an Amazing dinner in the romantic and homely restaurant, only to find that the villa had been tidied and our beds turned down. The small touches and the comfort were not what I expected, and was very pleasantly surprised. I will be back at every opportunity. Thank You for the Most relaxing night away.

Firstly, I arrived a day early - all my fault and was met by charming Ann, who said she'd look forward to seeing us the next day!!! Arriving, for the second time, on the right day, we were shown to our two bedroom, two bathroom llodge, with a cosy lounge and pretty verandah - it was perfect, right down to the welcome note, fresh flowers and free bar, in fact it was so perfect we couldn't stop takig pictures!! It was one of the highlights of our South African holiday, a little paradise in the country with every luxury you could ever want. Dinner, cooked by the very talented, resident chef on both evenings, was absolutely divine, the wine, all you'd expect from the local vinyards and, the icing in the cake was the lovely Aubrey, who was quietly and charmingly on hand with suggested itineraries and maps of the local wineries and attractions -not forgetting our gracious waitress, her name escapes me just now but who lives in Pniel with her family - we will return to watch the hills turning pink in the evenings

Room Tip: The only genuine tip I can give you is 'just go there' you won't regret it!!!

What a beautiful hotel - I wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms are gorgeous, particularly the bathrooms. And the food in the restaurant (both breakfast and dinner) was out of this world. Highly recommended.

Our stay was magical and very luxurious - my sister and I enjoyed our stay and would love to have stayed longer. The views were wonderful and it was very peaceful. We enjoyed the breakfast menu and would love to come back one day.

Very welcoming and unpretentious small amazing boutique hotel place in the middle of the wine country Paarl/Stellenbosch/Fransshoek.
Wonderful personal that is very service minded. The natural pool is incredible both in terms of design and usage.
