We spent an extremely pleasant weekend camping in the main camp with friends. The campsite, the ablution facilities and the camp kitchen were kept spotless at all times and all the appliances and electrical points were in working order.
The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful, being willing to go the extra mile to assist, as occurred when we needed a sealing washer for our gas cooker, and the maintenance workshop was opened for us (after hours) and an interim plan made with an "O" ring to tide us over for the rest of the weekend - thank you to Llewellyn, the facilities manager for whom nothing was too much trouble.
The campsites themselves are spacious and provide adequate privacy from neighboring sites - and we were privileged to be visited at our evening fireside by a resident porcupine, followed shortly thereafter by a lesser spotted genet
The park itself is always good value and the birdlife great.
We have spent time in other national parks, which would do well to take a leaf out of Addo's book.
Well done to Addo and it's staff
