The hotel was ok. Nothing to write home about. Rooms were fairly clean. Shower filled with mildew. Tub could use a good scrubbing. Way too many rules! My friend got yellled at for having sand in her bathtub. Hello!! You are a hotel at the beach what do you think was gonna be in there. Would never stay there again. You have to either leave all your beach stuff wet and sandy in your car or on 1st level by the sidewalk for anyone to take. After thoroughly rinsing off our beach toys i put them under the chair outside our room to dry. Owner came by everynight and took them and brought them downstairs. He even took our cooler that we brought to the beach downstairs. Just be aware there are alot of rules if you stay here. I don't know about you but when i'm on vacation i don't want have to worry about excessive rules. You want your place kept clean, i understand that but don't tell me about keeping things clean when the shower was'nt that clean. The cleaners take notes of your room when they're in there and give it to the owner. How else would they know about what's in your bathtub. Owner could be a bit more friendly.

sea scape inn is a gem! small, very clean and close to the beach and an ocean view, too! very reasonable prices. chris (owner) is very attentive and helpful to his guests. did i mention clean?!!!

We stayed here for 3 nights in August of 2006. I was nervous having read the reviews here after I booked, and I booked the place sight unseen. I was pleasantly surprised. The place was spotlessly clean and roomy, beds very comfortable, lots of towels, nice and quiet, steps from the beach. The owner has many rules that must be followed, thought it was a bit much but I guess thats why the place is as clean as it is. The only downside is that no visitors are allowed on the hotel property, and since my sister was at a hotel down the road this presented some minor problems. Again, I guess this is why the place is as clean and quiet as it is. The pool is small, but since my kids are little it was fine, very clean and refreshing. I would stay here again, next time I would have my sister stay so there would be no problems. Overall, a great place. We decided to stay an extra night but there was no vacancy, and we moved to the Regal Plaza. Much more expensive and not half as nice as the Seascape. I would not stay at Regal again...kind of dirty.

We were very pleased for it being an older hotel. It was clean and confortable. The owner's rules are strict but we felt that kept out the 'rift-raft'. It was nice and quiet for us 'older' people. The owner was very accommodating, even moved his car to get our's in more comfortably.
