sea scape inn is a gem! small, very clean and close to the beach and an ocean view, too! very reasonable prices. chris (owner) is very attentive and helpful to his guests. did i mention clean?!!!

We stayed here for 3 nights in August of 2006. I was nervous having read the reviews here after I booked, and I booked the place sight unseen. I was pleasantly surprised. The place was spotlessly clean and roomy, beds very comfortable, lots of towels, nice and quiet, steps from the beach. The owner has many rules that must be followed, thought it was a bit much but I guess thats why the place is as clean as it is. The only downside is that no visitors are allowed on the hotel property, and since my sister was at a hotel down the road this presented some minor problems. Again, I guess this is why the place is as clean and quiet as it is. The pool is small, but since my kids are little it was fine, very clean and refreshing. I would stay here again, next time I would have my sister stay so there would be no problems. Overall, a great place. We decided to stay an extra night but there was no vacancy, and we moved to the Regal Plaza. Much more expensive and not half as nice as the Seascape. I would not stay at Regal again...kind of dirty.

We were very pleased for it being an older hotel. It was clean and confortable. The owner's rules are strict but we felt that kept out the 'rift-raft'. It was nice and quiet for us 'older' people. The owner was very accommodating, even moved his car to get our's in more comfortably.

When we checked in we were met by the rudest owner we have ever met in our over 20 years of going to Wildwood Crest. The owner had a real attitude problem. We were totally shocked by his demeanor and unfriendliness. The room was fairly clean if you could close your eyes in the shower which was filled with mildew. The pool is the smallest I have seen, actually I think it is an above ground pool ! The microwave had a missing knob so it was unusable. The location is fine, a nice area close to the boardwalk and beach. I would not return.
