“AVOID THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU LIKE REAL AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2009

I have been coming to Wildwood Crest for more than 40 years and my advice is to AVOID Carini's Restaurant completely. The meals are completely unappetizing and taste like they are made by an amateur chef. The salad is iceberg lettuce and the marinara sauce tastes like ragu from the jar. Absolutely disgusting even for shore food. If you should complain about the quality of your meal, the owner will refuse to do anything about it too. He is extremely rude and cares only about getting paid for the meal. I guess it is more important to rake in 15 dollars then do the right thing and provide good customer service to a patron. If you have a problem with your meal and trust me, you will...You will have no recourse because the owner is greedy, rude, condescending, and very IMPOLITE! So...when you feel like eating good Italian food, look for another place. Domino's Pizza is probably more tasty. IT IS TRULY HORRIBLE

We went with a large group of 14. The pizzas were delicious. The service was excellent. No long wait for food.

“Family Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2009

What started out for be a small group of family going out for a dinner while on vacation, ended up becoming a party of fifteen. We did not have to wait too long to be seated and our waitress, Katie, was most efficient and courteous. The appetizers were served(including the Sicilian pizza) and were delicious. All of the meals were presented at the same time which asssured us that we could all eat at the same time. This was important since there wer five young children in the group. Everyone enjoyed an evening of Family Fun! Thanks to the Carini family.

“Very Good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2009

Excellent Sicilian pizza. The sauce was especially tasty. Very generous sized entrees: the baked ziti was large enough that I had leftovers for lunch the next day. Very high quality food for a good price. The restaurant was pretty busy, but the service was still very prompt and polite. I would definitely recommend.

“Blech - anemic sauce and DiGirono might be better”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2009

Pretty bad. Ravoli with a bitter and bland sauce that they also put on the pizza. I think it was just tomato sauce from a can maybe. the pizza was pretty bland. I like DiGirono better actually but it was made to order and we didn't have to go to the store to by a frozen pizza or heat up the oven. In tis regard they beat a frozen pizza. Saturday night - 1 hour wait for sit down or take out. Really amazed at that. Little Italy's was much better. 1 Medium Pizza with one topping, order or Ravoli with salad/bread and one iced tea $31.00 + tip. Prices are not out of line with a beach area. BYOB.
