My sister and all of her In laws (15 adults & 16 kids) have been going to the Jersey shore for years. For the past 5 years or so, everyone stays at the Park Lane. We decided to join in on the family festivities- this will be our 4th year - we love it! The owner takes pride in his establishment, you'll see him testing pool water every morning and there is always someone walking around with a broom and dust pan keeping things tidy. It is PERFECT for families. The location is great, the staff IS friendly, our kids love the pool & kiddy pool and the rooms are large and clean.

I highly recommend the Park Lane- just don’t take our rooms!

We stayed at the Park Lane Labor Day evening into the next day and loved it. The rooms and hotel in general was immaculate. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a stay to remember even though it was only 1 night. We are looking forward to going next year for a much longer stay.

The people who ran the place (the owners?) were needlessly rude. Who needs that especially during a vacation when big bucks are being spent to have a good time. I'm surprised that anyone in the service industry would be so out of touch with "customer service" protocols.

I won't be exposing my kids and family to negativity of that kind, clean rooms or not.

We just returned from a 3 night stay in Wildwood Crest at the Park Lane Motel. This was our first visit there and we were very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms and grounds area. Upon arrival we checked in at 10:30AM and were told to give the front desk girl 10 minutes and she would give up our key. She went over to our room to inspect it before giving us the key. We were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready and someone was inspecting it before we could go in. There was always someone cleaning outside and emptying the garbage cans around the pool area. The bathrooms could use updating but the rooms were clean and updated. The pool was immaculate and crystal clear. This motel was better than alot we have stayed in in Wildwood Crest and paid more money for. In general we think the motel/hotels need renovating but the Park Lane was one to stay at again. It is a good location and once you get there you can walk to many places. We wish the owner would smile a little more but the bed bug review I read before we left for Wildwood is way off......
