“Great for family of four!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

Stayed here for Beach Blast weekend with our two daughters (teens), was very impressed with how clean the motel rooms/pool was, the staff was extremely friendly & helpful including the owner. First time staying in Wildwood and would definitely return to this family atmosphere motel. The Pool does close at 7pm it would have been nice if it was open till 9 pm. The complimentary coffee in am was very much appreciated. :) will return again!!!!

My family has been going to Wildwood for years, but this is the first time we stayed at this motel. From what we understand, there has been a recent change in ownership so we do not know what it was like before. Our family of four (two kids aged 4 & 1) had an excellent stay at this motel. The owner was friendly and accessible. The maid service was prompt and friendly. The motel is in a great location and it was as clean as a recent 5-star caribbean resort that we recently stayed at. The pool was clean and warm, even if the weather was not very warm. There are two large decks that have plenty of chairs and tables. The only complaint we had was the other guests happened to be smoking outside their rooms and we always had to walk through their smoke to get to our room, but luckily we weren't staying next to them.

We just got back from our first trip to Wildwood. So glad we stayed here! This place is great and has a great location for getting to the boardwalk and beach. Everyone there was so nice. We very much enjoyed it and definitely recommend it. We are hoping to make this a yearly family trip and will be sure to check availability here first next year!

At our recent visit to Wild-woods NJ we stayed at the Le Voyageur Motel. The rooms were a decent size to accommodate all five people. It was a decent price for being so close to the ocean (approximately one city block) The rooms were kept tidy daily. There is a swimming pool although it does close at 7 pm every day. There were also decent Bars and Restaurants within walking or short driving distance. Overall this was a great experience.

We took our indoor percussion group and guard to LeVoyageur Motel for a competition at the Wildwood Convention Center. We were able to have our 60+ students and chaperones stay here. A unique feature of this motel was the variety of room layouts. We had different numbers of students in the rooms and this worked out great for us. This motel was located just over a block from the boardwalk and Conventer Center so this was very convenient.. The owners, Tim and Grace are very nice and helpful. It is obvious that Tim takes pride in his motel as the accommodations were very clean. We had numerous calls to Tim and he was very easy to work with. Tim also provided us a space to set up food for the students - thank you!
We look forward to bringing our group back next year!

Room Tip: Call the owners to find out which layout works the best for you/your group.

We have been staying at the Le Voyageur for the last twenty five years, the staff is always very friendly and help full. The rooms are kept in spotless condition, even with three children and now our daughter and her family with three kids join us. Every year we meet our Le Voyager family that we have known and became friends through the years, and yes we have a great time. There is a clean heated pool(which is a lot of fun with the kids), and the grounds are also kept very clean. The beach and board walk is only a block and half away.
I have recommended the Le Voyageur Motel too friends and family, and they enjoy their stay, and return each year. We truly enjoy our Wildwood days, have fun in Wildwood at the Le Voyageur Motel

Our family stayed here for a few days during our first jaunt to the Jersey Shore. We got a 3rd floor efficiency room that had a full fridge w/freezer and a microwave. The main bedroom had a queen size bed, large flat screen tv, the kitchen area and a table w/chairs. They even have separate cans for garbage AND recycling! No cooking utensils except a larger plastic bowl w/cover, so bring plates/bowls/paper towels/utensils, etc. 2nd bedroom had a double bed, a twin bed, the A/C unit and a flatscreen tv mounted on the wall. My kids said the beds were very comfy. They loved having their own tv to watch, and there were tons of channels they liked!
Bathroom was small but very clean. Fan in there is quite loud, but pretty efficient.
The 2nd floor deck has TWO gas grills for guests to use with BBQ utensils, which was great! Several umbrella covered tables there for family eating! There was a 3rd floor sundeck that we didn't use as we preferred the pool, but if you just wanted to sunbathe, it was nice to have another place to do so without the wet and noise of the pool.
The pool itself was great! It even has a little pool (connected but gated off from the main pool) for little kids - I would have loved this when my kids were little! The pool has several "seats" built into it, around the pool, which was great. Fake palm trees surrounding pool very cute! Lots of seating, in shade or in sun. I could even watch my older kids from chairs outside my room on the 3rd floor walkway....another nice bonus if you didn't want to sit in the room, but didn't want to go far either if you had a napping child but wanted fresh air.
Large hospitality room on main floor with even more tables/chairs, free coffee and hot chocolate, washer & dryer, tv to watch, free newspapers, microwave and sink w/dishsoap if you had dishes or cooking utensils to wash. Outside of the hospitality room was an outdoor shower w/shampoo & soap for rinsing yourself off after the beach! Also a small fenced in clothesline for drying clothes. There were pop and candy vending machines on the sidewalk in front of the main office.
Didn't meet the owner, but the lovely red-haired woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful! The beach & boardwalk were only a 2-block walk away, lots of nearby restaurants, and not noisy at night. Even better, you can see the neon lights on the rides on the pier!
Hotel was totally worth the rates we paid and we would happily stay here again!!!

Room Tip: 2nd or 3rd floor rooms quieter, but no elevator, so be prepared to climb the stairs!
