I ate here on Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. The place was pretty packed. We arrived around 6pm and had a 45 minute wait. Outside seating area is nice and the patio had a few gas propane stands, nice touch. 35 minutes later we were inside.
We had a party of 4 and all were overall very pleased with the service and food.
The salad was okay- i had the blue cheese. Tasted homemade which was a nice touch but the dressing seemed to have more of a mayo kick than blue cheese crumbles. The other folks seemed to enjoy their alternative dressing selections.
We skipped the apps but next time want to try the calamari and the volcano shrimp. I had a Chicken Fontina for my entree. This thing was huge. Plan on skipping lunch if you're going to order it. Two nicely fried pieces of chicken topped with nice tomatoes, cheese and some other tasty stuff. A nice healthy side of fresh veggies and a big scoop of mash potatoes.
The lobster raviolis with shrimp was another one of the meals. This was a special, portion was small, but was told it was excellent. The claims and linguine and pesto chicken rounded out the orders. Overall, we were too stuffed for dessert.
The food was excellent, wait time was reasonable, service was okay (wait staff seemed overworked given the extra rush of the holiday weekend). I'd go back again and now know why this is one of the top places in WW.
