“Best Salad Restaurant in NJ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

The greens are fresh and plentiful. The choices for add-ins are almost endless. You end up with a "big salad" that is just the way you want it!

“Good Salads but that's it”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

Wild Greens is located in the heart of Westfield, NJ, and primarily serves salads, soups, and sandwiches. while it is a healthy alternative, the service is HORRIBLE and the salads don't make up for the experience.

It is unacceptable to wait 25 minutes for a hot pressed sandwich. At the 12 minute mark (already long) when I inquired, I was told, "another 4 minutes"...so what was happening until then? 13 minutes later...I angrily walked over to inform them that it had been 25 minutes since i had ordered. The clueless, wide-eyed girl and manager both looked at me dumbfounded, and nervously fumbled to inform the salad prepper. The reality is the salad prepper is multi-tasking and had forgotten the sandwich. He was cleary annoyed at being called out, quickly cut the sandwich in two, fast wrapped it, and handed it off...no apologies.

Of course, greater than 10minutes in a panini press, and what do you get? a hard brick of smushed breaded chicken, a disappearing tomato, gooey cheese, all of which is unpalatable and unedible. Incredibly, an inaudible mumbled "what is wrong with it" reply after bringing this to the manager. What a joke.

The sad fact is, the salads are fine, and other Advisors will likely to attest to that in future reviews. However, how hard is it to prepare and hand off a salad? While I give them marks for the salads, I would just as quickly give them zero because of their inattentiveness, bored looks, and overpriced, embarrassing food. Finally, this is not the first time they've underperformed, but is the first time I am so annoyed that I want everyone to know. Spend your money elsewhere if you want a sandwich.
