We went to Uproot on a Saturday night and didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The decor and atmosphere is very clean and sharp and feels like a fine dining restaurant although it is also very welcoming.
We opted to sit at the bar, which was great. They had comfortable, cushioned bar seats and we were able to choose from the full menu while sitting at the bar. The beer selection was very good which was unexpected for this area. The wine list was also very good.
The biggest problem we had with the menu was that we couldn't choose just one thing, everything looked and so good.
Instead of trying to choose, my wife and I split several of the appetizers as well as the fries. We had the disco fries, buffalo wings, meatloaf sliders, and pierogies. Everything was great. You could tell everything was freshly made and by hand. The fries were fresh cut and cooked perfectly. The dipping sauces were also hand made.
Finally, we had to have desert and were informed by the bartender that the donuts were the best thing n the menu. He wasn't wrong.
Overall, the amount of food and the quality of Food and service was amazing for the price. We will definitely be back and looK forward to trying everything else on the menu.
