“Awesome experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

Certainly no burgers & fries here, BUT this was a welcomed change. Everything is top shelf, from the wide variety of teas to the finger sandwiches to mini desserts. They might look small but are very tasty & filling. Great date site!

“Bridal Luncheon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

As my daughter was having a destination wedding, not all guests could attend. Rather than having a huge impersonal shower, I decided to have tea at 600 Main Victorian Bed and Breakfast with a guest list of 25 family and close friends. I could not have been more pleased with the location, cleanliness, outstanding service and personal attention given to our guests. The innkeepers, John and Sue Notte have done an amazing job on this property and their pride of ownership shows.

We had mushroom soup, celery salad, quiche, tea sandwiches and a beautiful assortment of mini desserts along with our choice of tea. We supplied champagne and wine. Susan and her staff set up crystal champagne flutes with fresh berries and greeted each guest with a glass of champagne.

The food was delicious and kept coming. Each course was served beautifully with the perfect wow factor.

After we ate, we went to the parlor for my daughter to open her gifts. It was so different and welcoming to have her shower at this beautiful Victorian. It felt like home.

You do not have to love or even like the Victorian style to appreciate 600 Main.

Ambiance: Perfect...
Food: Perfect..
Attention to detail: Perfect....

600 Main gave us wonderful memories of a once in a lifetime event thanks to Susan, her husband and their servers Kim and Kim. I felt like this beautiful Victorian had a life of its own and graciously welcomed us to share everything she had to offer for this special time in our lives.

“Afternoon tea with the book club”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014

Our book club had our monthly meeting here. It's an absolutely charming place. The afternoon tea was the best I have had outside of England. The scones were perfect, and the desserts were so good we all wanted more. They have a menu full of teas, and the tea was hot and plentiful. We all want to go back and have a girl's sleepover at the inn.

“Surprise Tea Party for a Dear Friend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

While three of us pondered how to celebrate a birthday for a fourth friend, who happens to be a Brit, we decided to plan a TEA PARTY for her. Within the lovely historic B and B, Susan Notte discussed various options for tea, menu, and service. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. The surprise party went off without a hitch, the food was varied and delicious, and desserts were to die for. 600 Main in Toms River, NJ, is a delightful slice of Victoriana and graciousness, wherein a touch of the past is beautifully executed. I look forward to returning again and again.
