“meh!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Would not go out of my way to visit it.....unless no other place was open in the county. Having said that, it's not terrible, merely very forgettable.

“Shockingly good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

When we first arrived on a Saturday night the place was empty which was scary, but after the first bite we were delighted. The menu is limited and a little pricey but the filet migeon was yummy and almost able to cut with a fork. I had cavatelli which was really good and a nice portion. The service was OK...four of us for dinner and 4 rolls put out. Had to ask for more and water re-fills which with an empty restaurant is unacceptable. But we were not rushed out which was a nice change and could sit and talk without shouting at each other. They do have a restaurant.com coupon which I will print out next time I go.

“Good Hotel Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

I had a steak, which was good but not great. My two companions each had seafood dishes, but had to select alternatives as their first choices were not available. The wine was an always decent Rodney Strong at about $30, which was not bad.

“2nd review and it's still bad”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2013

A 7PM reservation found them setting up for the breakfast buffet. We passed the containers of cereal only to find packages of jelly on our table. As a party of seven, we were offered a table for 6 to squeeze into near the kitchen and had to ask for another table (more jelly). The menu looked much improved since my last visit but the food was not. The cream of mushroom soup initially tasted good but heavy on the sherry and salt so it was hard to finish. The fish entrees among the group on were not very fresh and heavily salted. One person ordered the meatloaf and did not even bother trying it eat it calling it a "bread loaf." The bread basket is comprised of uninspired super market variety dinner rolls. Service was pleasant but not impressive.....this is a hotel restaurant so maybe it's just for non-repeat clientele.
