Not to worry, this B&B is absolutely stunning! Everything from the guest rooms (each with private bathrooms), outdoor shower, landscaping, and living rooms. Everything about this Inn is well-kept and beautiful. Although the televisions are extremely outdated!
But beware of the Inn-keepers. From the moment we arrived they were rude, cold, and extremely pushy. Yes they have a lovely Inn, but they act as though they are doing you a favor by letting you stay there! Snobby and cold is the best way to describe them. And for $399/ night during the summer, I'd like a little more hospitality frankly. And don't even think about staying here unless you've got a real backbone when it comes to a pushy salesman. These inn-keepers have the mantra "always be closing" permanently on their minds as their aggressive sales pitches are uncomfortable and unwelcome. Beware: if you're a softy you'll be going home with a $30 Cookbook that the Inn-keeper co-authored, and trust me, you'll never use these recipes. Also the tea and snack hour at 5pm is pretty weak, by 5:30 everything is devoured and they never replenish the goods.
All in all, it was an ok stay. The room and the beach was the best part and the only reason we'd go back. But we'll definitely be looking into other accommodations before settling for the Victoria House again.
Yes it was beautiful, but that isn't everything.

We go out of our way to make our guests feel at home and welcomed. Our afternoon tea is replenished as needed and if something was needed we always tell our guests to page us and we will be happy to help them. Most guests take us at our word. WE have a wonderful repeat business and books filled with high praise of our Inn.

By the way the cookbook is $20.00 and no one forced you to buy it and for those who have we have gotten many comments and emails about how great the recipes are in it that they have tried.
If you are going to comment then at least get the facts right and don't speculate on something you know nothing about.
For those guests who have had a glitch in their stay we always apologize for what ever may have happened and make an effort to correct the matter.
