“One of the best steaks you will ever taste!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2014

The bridge is a secluded pub, with very friendly staff who try and accomodate anything you ask for. We have called number of times at short notice, and they have always fitted us in. Last time we went we had rib eye steak, and although quite expensive its probably one if the best cooked and prepared steaks I have ever tasted. Definitely worth the price.

“A lovely location and great food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

We had a business meeting at the Bridge Inn on Monday, and the food and service were quite exceptional. There was a bit of a mix up however. It seems the regular pub menu was 'off' due to it being a bank holiday weekend but we were given it and the dinner menu by error. As the girls weren't over hungry, we all ordered the smaller portion of seared salmon, ₤7.50, rather than the steamed salmon full meal which was ₤15+. We all thought it was strange, but as none of us were quite sure what had gone wrong and it was delicious, there was an agreement to not complain. Soooo British :) However, I felt it was only fair to bring it to the attention of the server who was of course horrified to find she'd given us both menus! When they amended the bill, admitting their error, the table of 9 decided to order dessert and coffee as well!
It's worth travelling out to this beautiful area in you're in Hay-on-Wye or even Hereford!

“Exciting Menu”

A party of nine of us ate here for a friends birthday. It is well worth the ride along the lovely country lanes. Beautiful setting, great ambiance, amazing food, pleasant friendly & helpful staff.
