“Charming Inn, great to regroup and enjoy the area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2011

Nice rooms, breakfast and a helpful friendly staff in the middle of the Smithville shops. We had a beautiful suite overlooking the water with comfy king size bed and a cute breakfast nook. Every detail seemed to be "just right'. The price was reasonable for the location and the amenities.

“Cozy getaway - great bed and breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2011

We had the pleasure of staying in the 204 Villages for 2 days - New Years Eve and New Years Day 2010/2011. What a wonderful place - the room was tucked into the village - close to all stores, but very quiet as the village does not open until around 10 am. The breakfast was continental, and picked up in the lobby of the main Inn - and it was perfect! The room itself was better than we imagined. It was clean, spacious and all amenities were available. We are trying to figure out when we can get away again to re-visit, and most likely wiould try to get the same room. All in all this was a great getaway for a few days - enjoyed Smithville, and close enough to go to AC whenever we wanted. I would highly recommend the Colonial Inn at Smithville -thank you!

Room Tip: The Village Room was quiet, but centrally located.

“Hidden Gem at the Jersey Shore!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2011

Just returned from an overnight stay in the carriage room at the Colonial Inn. The facility and staff were amazing from start to finish. Room was almost brand new, clean(spotless), bed was perfect as well. Roman steam shower was world class! Location is not to be beat. The shopping right out your front door is fabulous. Atlantic city only a short ten minute drive. Food stores, restaurants, pharmacies all within a short walk from the inn. Free breakfast included was a nice bonus. Served in a basket so you can sit by the lakefront deck! If you are in the area, don't miss this one! Hard to beat!

Thank you so much for the wonderful write up. It really means a lot to us that you enjoyed your stay here at the Colonial Inn, we try hard :). If you're planning to return to the Colonial Inn or even just the Village don't forget about our wonderful light show on the lake during the holiday season! It is over 120 Christmas tree's made from over 50.000 strung Christmas lights and when the sun goes down they dance to the music...you would love it!! Thank you again for taking the time to comment :)

“Immaculate B&B we would definitely return”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2011

My husband and I spent a night here and it was great. Room immaculate, mattress a little soft but that is my opinion. Breakfast of coffee, muffins, juice and yogurt. Friendly staff, we would definitely return.

Room Tip: We chose a room with a little back deck to enjoy our breakfast

“Another Great Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2011

This is my 2nd annual trip to Colonial Inn and again, I loved it. The rooms are clean and the most comfortable beds and linens. Its like home. The breakfast is simple but all you need. The people are great, I think they take happy pills. I have never been greeted by such a friendly staff as this. If you need anything they go out of your way to help you. I now look forward to my stay at least once a year. Thank you for another great getaway.
