* Perfect location near New-York City. The bus pick you up right in front of the Hotel. 15/20 minutes and you are at Port Authority of New York & New Jersey Bus Terminal (2/3 block from Time Square). We came back after midnight without any problems;
* Rooms are nice and clean. The beds are very comfortable;
* Breakfast include and offer a good variety of meals;
* Parking is free;
* Neighborhood is quiet and there is many restaurant near the hotel (week days, they close at 11:00PM));
* Friendly staff (ex: They help us find an open restaurant late on a week day - a place name Coach House Diner. They draw us a plan to get there!!)

This is a really good deal if you do not want to spend too much money in the high priced hotels of NYC.

I stayed there for 10 days. I went with my wife and my two kids. We are from Guadalajara, México. The place is great, the room is really confortable. We took daily the bus number 320 to get to Manhattan, just 10 minutes away, for only 12.50 round trip for the four of us (kids don't pay). Only one day, because of the traffic, it took us 30 minutes to get to Manhattan. The people in the frontdesk are very friendly. Walmart is two blocks away and you can buy snacks there and put them in the minibar in the room. Thats very helpful when traveling with kids. The rate includes breakfast, wich is good, and the coffee is great. The area seems to be safe. We walked there up to 11 pm, when coming back from Manhattan without any problem. There are, also, many restaurants just across the street. We even found a Mexican restaurant with really acceptable mexican food (Not Tex Mex).
The price of the room is less than a half of the ones in Manhattan, even considering the cost of the bus. I will definetely stay there again.

My extended family stayed at this hotel June 2007 and would recommend staying here again without hesitation. The hotel was very easy to find and is near many other quality hotels. It is in an excellent location near many restaurants, although we always ate in the city. The NJ Transit bus stop is right across the street. All of the staff are friendly. As others have said, the rooms are modern with duvet covers, roll pillows, and very comfortable beds. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. NYC is about a 20 minute from into via the NJ Transit bus. The only downside is that this hotel does not have a pool. I would definitely recommend staying at the Hampton Inn.

I stayed at this hotel June 9-10, 2007 as an alternative to the high priced hotels in NYC. I wish I would have found this area years ago!!! It was very easy to get to off of the New Jersey Turnpike. Excellent location. Walmart, Sam's Club, and a variety of restaurants and other shops are within walking distance. The front desk was wonderful, especially Jolston (spelling?). He was very professional and courteous. The rooms are modern with duvet covers, roll pillows, and I believe feather down pillows. The room also offered a TV with very basic cable, a fridge, microwave, table, and free in-room cable modem. They even had a card for their website in the room if you're interested in purchasing the items that the room offers. Hampton Inn also had coffee available all day, and offered a pretty decent hot breakfast in the morning. They did offer early check-in, and allowed me to leave my car in the parking lot after I checked out so that I could take another trip into the city. I would definately recommend the Hampton Inn!!

The NJ Transit bus to the city is about a 5 minute walk, the bus drivers were friendly. We were in the Port Authority terminal in NYC within 20 minutes (depending on traffic in the tunnel).
