this is my 2nd time at the sea gem motel. i stayed here last year and enjoy the stay so much that i came back. there customer service is great. i was on the 3rd floor and scaredof heights and they were so nice that they moved my family and i to make us comfortable. i been coming down the shore every summer for the last 5 years and stayed at many hotels and this one the best one i have stayed at and will continue coming for many more.

We stayed at the Sea Gem from Aug 13 to Aug 16. We booked a one bedroom "apartment". Our quarters were very roomy and clean. the Manager and his wife were very friendly and helpful and the poolside luncheons were great. This is an excellent place to stay. Very family oriented and the prices were extremely reasonable. The pool was not very big, but my granddaughters (age 12 & 13) enjoyed it very much. The Motel is located just one block from the Boardwalk and Beach.

This was our 2nd year staying at Sea Gem. We were extremely pleased the first time with our stay and took advantage of the Summer Discount Special. These days it is hard enough raising a family let alone take the them to the seashore. However, with the Sea Gem's Special we were able to enjoy our family time at the beach. The trip got even better when we arrived and Jim/Barb told us about the other specials they had to offer. We got discount (half price) tickets to the water park/casino pier, a pizza lunch at the pool, and each day free breakfast. How can you beat that?
I asked my boys what they enjoyed most about the Sea Gem, they loved the pool and the short distance to the boardwalk - half a block.

Just got back from Seaside Heights and wanted to hopefully help others out by giving this review. My husband and I decided to go to Seaside Heights where we had been once before many years ago. Since this is a typical beach town consisting of non-chain motels we decided not to make reservations ahead so that we could see the room first. A lot of motels were booked and we got to the point where we took a room we hadn't seen simply because there was a vacancy for the 3 nights needed. It was awful, very dirty and the door didn't lock!! I am not a snob but there was no way I was staying at that motel so we went for a walk and through another motel we were directed to The Sea Gem Motel!!! It was truly a "Gem". The owners were great, we were shown a room that was very nice and Clean! Clean! Clean! We were lucky to get our money back from the first motel and our vacation was saved. The Sea Gem staff was professional and very friendly. I highly recommend the Sea Gem Motel!!
