It was horrible. The service was bad. I was double charged. The first
room I recieved the toilet did not work in making the entire room smell horrible! In addition to that the bathroom and especailly the shower is too small to function comfortabley in.

The service was horrible. I called a few days before I went down to the hotel to reserve my room and pay in full. When I got there I found out they lost my reservation and claimed they must have never charged me for the room. So I believed them beacuse nothing had shown
up in my account and I allowed them to charge it again. They told me if an extra charge was withdrawn from my account that they would immediately refund it. They gave me an ocean front room for my difficulties, nice gesture but the toilet did not work in that room and someone had left a surprise in the tolet that stunk up the whole room. We were switched to another room but it was street side which was very noisy. I later found out that my card was double charged and
they refused to give me my money back until i could show proof of the
double charge, but I cannot do that until Monday when my bank reopens.

The only positive thing about there hotel is that they are located right next to the boardwalk.

Well after the past couple years of avoiding The Ocean Glow Motel we decided to try it again learning that someone new was taking care of the place. Well to much delight I can say things are much ...I say MUCH better. The motel is under new management. Don't hesitate to try it again.

What a nice change to have some fun, competent management since the days of Corky & Norm!!
Tom and Mike ( 2 cousins I think they said) currently co-manage the Ocean Glow.

My family had been coming to the 'Glow for over 20 years, since I was a small child.

The past 2 years our stay was a bit hassled by poor management and bad service( towels, room repair situations, etc) .
Tom and Mike both went our of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a small problem with our room A/C keeping up, so Mike offered to replace it with a new unit right on the spot! We were cool in no time. The rooms were tidy, kept clean, and still retain their charm ...the same as i enjoyed many a summer with my parents, grandparents, brother and sister.

The weather was great, the beach as always was spotless and well protected, and the Police were everywhere keeping a potential wild party town tame enough for us families to still enjoy!

We now hope this current crew will be there when we return next summer!

Thanks , Guys- we enjoyed all the places you reccomended, and had fun sharing a few beers with you both on the roof deck during the Wednesday Fireworks-

Ocean glow hotel is wonderful.

My family & I have been going there for years, this will
be our ninth year there, we arrive in 2 weeks. I met the
new owners last year and I think they are very nice &
honest people trying their best to make everyone happy.
my kids look foward to are family vacation every year.
I like the fact that its on the boardwalk and theres no
pool to worrie about. I also like the fact the the rooms are
small because it gives us time to be togather as a family
and talk about stuff, no other rooms to hide in. Some moms
can understand what that means, when all year everyone is
to busy with work, school & after school programs. I well
never be as happy going any where else. Debbie Y.
