“Terrible !!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2014

i stayed here for one night, as a last resort...it was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in...i would not stay here again. the room was disgusting... the curtaines didn't close all the way, some of the curtains were held together with a hair clip, the floor was super slippery in some areas (not sure from what), the beds were very uncomforable, the bathroom floor was a mess, trim around the floor was falling off, the only 1/2 way decent thing was the shower area, and even that had soap scum left over from the last guest. there was trash blowing around outside, and some scetchy characters hanging around on the stairs. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE !!!

Room Tip: nothing good about this hotel

The service here was absolutely awful. The 19 year old who is supposedly in charge was rude and tried to make us pay even more than the original price that he told us. It was very unprofessional and disgusting how he had his friends smoking weed in the room next to the check in. What was also very unprofessional was the way we were spoken to. He was rude and all he wanted was our money. We will no longer be looking at this hotel for future events and I recommend everyone else does the same and stays away from this hotel.

This was the worst hotel I ever stayed at....Gross, Disgusting, Filthy, Smelled bad (covered up with Air Freshener)

Could not even stay in the room one night...checked out and went somewhere else...Cleaner and up to date!

Called the Board of Health for Seaside Heights - and was informed it was used for Subsidized Housing...I am glad we did not stay here - who know what we would have caught there!

Room Tip: Do not stay here!

My friends and I (anywhere from 3 to 6 people at a time) stayed at Seaside Sands Inn from Saturday, July 7th until Friday July 13th. We had a great stay overall.
We booked our room through Booking.com which saved us about $100 for the week.
When I first checked in there was trouble because they did not have my room booked, there was some miscommunication with booking.com. But thankfully the people at the desk were very nice and got us a room. They even switched our room to one with two king beds instead of twin and didn't charge us extra.
As for the actual rooms they are very small and there isn't much extra room to walk around, but if you're like us and are going to be at the beach all day and then go out, it works fine. All we used it for was to sleep, shower and get ready. the two managers (a couple) were very nice. They looked like they were picked up from a trailer park, but besides from that were VERY friendly and did everything they could to help us out. I even locked my keys in my car at one point and the manager was able to unlock it for me so I didn't have to spend $100 on a locksmith.

Overall: If you're staying with your friends to have a good time then this is the place to be. It's cheap, a block from the boardwalk, you can see Karma from the motel, and they're very laid back about drinking and any type of smoking.
If you're coming with a family I probably wouldn't recomend this place.

One of the cheapest motels in the area but definitely the price reflected the quality. We still ended up paying $93 per night + tax for a room with 2 double beds as we were 4 people.
The bathrooms were not very clean and the toilet did not work very well. The WIFI worked great and so did the TV.

The motel seems to be a hangout for highschool/college students as there were lots of groups of students at the motel. Boys whistling when returning from the beach which made it uncomfortable when using the outdoor shower to rinse off sand, as well as beer pong tables already set up outside some rooms.

The man at the reception, not sure if it's the owner or just staff, was VERY nice. He gave us extra towels and advice on where to eat/go.

the managers were beyond lovely to me! however, you stay for what you pay. its a budget hotel so people that are expecting something more are being ridiculous. this was perfect for me. location was amazing, boardwalk was a minute away. the clubs were around the corner, couldnt fault the location at all. would def stay back here if i do come back to seaside in the future. the only thing i did hate was the walls are so thin, i heard the people next to me having a fight.. other than that, was great!
