“The best kept secret resort at the very beginning of the Jersey Shore, with a Tiki Bar, super view and Drew the #1 Host!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago via mobile

I have been at the BeachWalk at Sea Bright in NJ since February of 2015 and still currently stay here. This place is truly an amazing experience!! I do not know where to begin to list all the perks of being here.
The BeachWalk is nestled between the breathtaking sunrises on the Atlantic Ocean and the emotional sunsets of the Navesink River. They have rooms that allow you to experience both pleasures.
The room are super clean and have that true Jersey Shore feel. The staff is out of their way friendly and hospitable in particular Drew is one of the most amazing hosts I have ever met in my 40 years on this planet. He has been so helpful and informative my entire stay and always completely professional. He has gone totally out of his way to make my stay here super comfortable and home like.
Also this place has an incredible Tiki Bar that sits right on the water of the river. Their beer is cold and the food is superb. The atmosphere here on the weekends is definitely one of a kind and every weekend it has been the place to be for the local nightlife. From the outside it looks like a nostalgic hotel that has been here for a long time, but inside has been completely remodeled and upgraded to the point where it doesn't even feel like your at a hotel... It's like a Jersey Shore Resort!!!
I would recommend if you have not been here before or as of late, you will not be disappointed with one night or even many at the BeachWalk at Sea Bright!!!! A definite Jersey Shore MUST SEE!!!!

Beachwalk is a wonderful renovation of a decades old local Sea Bright motel. A four building compound with about fifty rooms it also has facilities for events. The property is located on the the Shrewsbury River side of Sea Bright. It's probably just over a mile to the shops and restaurants.

We didn't need to make use of the front desk except for checking in and out, but the kids working it were very pleasant.

Our standard en suite room with two beds was spacious enough and included a small fridge and microwave. It was bright with pastel colors and clean. The decor gave a beach cottage feel. The en suite had tub and shower. However, with a pedestal sink it would have been useful to have an extra shelf for toiletries. The small glass one above the sink wasn't sufficient and in our room was actually sloping downward. A couple of hooks on the bathroom door would help also.

A bit of a downfall was the housekeeping. I chalked it up to very busy being Labor Day weekend, but it wasn't good. Three nights and housekeeping came once.

There is deck restaurant on the river with beautiful views. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner at reasonable prices and the food is quite good. The staff is friendly.

The pool and pool area are well appointed and clean. The pool is a good size for people who would actually like to swim. On the ocean side, just a walk across the street there is a great beach. Sea Bright has come a long way in rehabilitating the beaches.

Since Sandy Sea Bright has come back very well. We enjoyed the stay, and although pricey, would stay again.

Stayed one night in a river view room. View can't be beat - gorgeous. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room, although clean and nicely decorated was very, very small, We were staying overnight to attend a wedding and it was really inconvenient for two of us to try to get ready at the same time. The sink is a pedestal sink, so no counter for makeup and hair drying. Also, there was an overwhelming air freshener scent. I am allergic to perfume, so had to open all the windows to air out the room. There was a small refrigerator and a microwave, so that was nice.
I would recommend this motel for a weekend at the beach. I plan to return - just be aware that this is a very modest establishment.

I stopped in to the Tiki Bar after the Seastreak dropped me off in the Highlands. I was heading south and figured I'd hit a Sea Bright spot on my way. Well I struck gold with this place. What a hidden gem. River views and ocean views. Absolutely breathtaking. As I was enjoying a few adult beverages, the manager of the hotel walked in. Let me tell you, he was the most gracious host you'd ever meet. We chatted about the history of the property and the beauty of the location. He even let me take his bike for a spin (it was very fast like he said). This place is pure class 100%. See for your self. I plan on frequenting this fine establishment for years to come. Hope to see y'all there!

Great location, can't be beat. I've stayed here years ago and the new owners have made VAST improvements!! Very clean rooms and grounds. The pool, though old, is right on the Shrewsbury River and has an infinity effect. You can relax after a day at the ocean, directly across the street, at the pool and Tiki Bar. Watch the boats pass by and enjoy the spectacular sunsets while sipping a cocktail and enjoying local live music. It's a short drive to Red Bank or Long Branch for an evening of entertainment and ocean side dining. Wake up in the morning and take a walk on the pristine Sea Bright ocean beach to awaken and renew your soul or take a charter fishing boat out of Bahr's in the Highlands. Don't forget to take home locally grown Jersey blueberries, tomatoes and corn.

Had stayed at the Ocean Place resort a few nights earlier and had left something of value in the room. After a three night trip to central PA, we travelled back to Long Branch to retrieve my belongings. We didn't feel comfortable staying at Ocean Place again due to inferior customer service for the price but needed a room nearby for the night. I read about Beachwalk on tripadvisor and was able to secure the last room they had available.
FELL IN LOVE with this place. From the warm greeting, CLEAN, cozy, poolside room to the most UNBELIEAVABLE fish taco's under a starlit sky, we dined with live music. It was absolutely first class. The guy and gal waiting on the tables could NOT have been more polite and friendly and behaved like they were having fun too, they were great to gab with! The food, YUM, drinks fabulous, entertainment was a 10. No hair dryers or other "hotel" type things but this is a refurbished 60's chic "motel"....with a great flat screen TV!

Room Tip: Stayed in room 35, queen (and we're bed snobs who like kings!) but it was darling. Walked out th...
