“Great Lunch Spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

This is one of the few places left where you can have a great sandwich for lunch. All the selections are delicious and the menu is new and fresh each day. The service needs improvement.

“Go for breakfast and stay for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

I've been coming here for 20+ years. Consistently good, good sized portions & a good value for the quality. There's a reason this place is a local institution. Everyone I've turned onto this place loves it.

Everything is good - we love the buttermilk blueberry 'pancrepes' (so rich and subtlely sweet you may want to skip the butter and maple syrup) and fluffy omelettes for brekkie. My bff and I like to hit this place before a day of weekend adventures and split an egg/bacon/cheese sandiwch and an order of the blueberry pancrepes - kind of a savoury/sweet start to the day.

There are lots of daily lunch specials (I dream about the stuffed poblano peppers and the crab cakes are zesty goodness on a side of arugula salad) but the old reliables are what keeps them coming back - great fresh salads (I love the Gorgonzola Salad with babt greens, pears, walnuts, grilled chicken and balsamic dressing), tender roast beef made on premises; real crispy pomme frites (they call them 'fries' but you can't fool me! these are waaay better than your average soggy fries); and good old Super Sandwich #2 (the one with mozzarella/basil/roasted peppers/proscuitto on garlic bread ... YUM!!!).

The place is small so come early and bring your appetite. You'll want one of everything :)

“Gotta try the pancakes!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2014

Great place for Breakfast or lunch. They close at 3PM.

The pancakes are like a crepe. Very thin and light and delicious. Not too filing. They make one of the best veggie omelets I've ever had. Coffee is delicious too.

Beside the regular menu they have another with specials. Everything we've tried here was very good. Never had a bad meal. Steve is always around and the service is smooth. Sometimes when they're busy it can be a bit slow but the food is always served hot and appetizing. The help is always very accommodating and coffee cups are kept full.

One of our favorite breakfast places in the area. We visit multiple times a week!

“Great for Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

It's small but the food is great. I would give it 5 stars but I'm not sure what other meals are like.
