“French cuisine in a casual farmhouse setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

Exceptional French / Fusion cuisine ; a prix fixed menu (with a choice of only 2 selections per course). Now $49 p/p, not $35. The interior remains much as it did as Lola's Café at Rosemont:
farmhouse casual. The servors, while knowledeable and friendly, were dressed very casually too. Lots of different tables, chairs. No table cloths yet. Still paper napkins too.

A sharp contrast to the haute cuisine.

“Expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Went on a Wed nite. 49$ for a 4 course meal is your only option. There were few menu selections (2 per course). Food was unique and well prepared. I like the local sourcing of food but 3 courses and 35$ would have been fine. Service was excellent but coordination of appetizers to entree's was not well paired. Compared - it was 120$ (20$ bottle of wine) and I had better meals at The Mansion (new), Blue Moose or Marsha Browns for same or less.

“"The Pass" is a wonderful gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2014

The Pass is delightful!. Six of us had dinner on a Saturday night, The food was inventive, the service excellent, and the prices very reasonable. The Pass is a BYOB restaurant. The Pass is located in the quiet hamlet of Rosemont, NJ and should not be missed.

We will happily return.

“Perfect in Every Respect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2014

We have now dined at the Pass on two occasions -- once soon after the New York Times review was published and again last night, to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. This is an exceptional restaurant. The prix fixe menu features two or three options for each course, so, with a party of six, we were able to sample every dish on the menu. There was not a clunker among them. Each dish was well-prepared, with an imaginative blending of ingredients that produced a singular spectacular taste. The service was first-rate and the ambiance was country casual. We love this place and will be back again and again.

“Ho hum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2014 via mobile

Good ambience in a quaint setting, short menu with reasonable range, seasonal local ingredients with some interesting additions.Lamb ragout a little too sweet but served with decent pappardelle.Bland skipjack tuna, braised octopus with belly of pork which was tasty but skin wasn't crispy.Good bread, helpful service.Overall food was somewhat lacking in flavor.
