“Little but packs a punch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

A beautiful venue to see a show. Not a bad seat in the house. If you know a sponsor (or want to become one) visit the Carlton Lounge for a drink before, during or after the show. Not the most current of acts, but good ones none the less!

“Fabulous venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

This old vaudeville theater has been totally renovated to look as it did a half century or more ago, and is absolutely outstanding. Every seat is a good one, even though it holds about a thousand people.
It gets some really good performers, including some has-beens who still make good music. Madonna won't be playing at the Count Basie any time soon, but it gets some good names.
A couple times a year it does a doowop performance which is really good for us old-timers.

There is a bar, and they also have a sort-of club for those who donate.

“A Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

Nicely renovated classic old theater in the middle of beautiful downtown Red Bank. Grab a meal at Basil T's or Teak then go check out a national act like Lewis Black.

“Good Price - Good Selection - No "Bad" Seats”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

Quint and Cozy. I've been here many times over the years. I once sat in the very last row ( Pat Benetar) and had no trouble either seeing or hearing.

The place is a winner

“Wonderful old theater”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

This theater has been renovated and has lots of charm. Not too big, so most seats are good. Don't recommend the first row of balcony. As in other theaters of that era, you have to sit forward to see well.
