“Great Week Day Night”

The new San Remo is beautiful and the food and service was excellent. Parking was easy for Red Bank at 7PM. We where impressed with the overall meal, including the desert.

“Big disappointment”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014

So disappointed by the new San Remo...Only my salad was good (Bella Donna) antipasti we ordered a cold and hot and it was mixed on one plate with limited sub par choices, every pasta dish was over cooked and had the same base sauce(?) broccoli rabe with sausage had 4 thin slices of mediocre sausage and bland mushy pasta all 3 at our table, chicken payard was not a thin pounded cutlet but a peice of chicken skin placed through a pasta roller and cooked in another mediocre sauce we opted to skip desert and save ourselves! The service was horrific the waiter practically talked down to our entire 8 person table as though he was annoyed by us. Waste of our monthly dinner clubs time and money! So many amazing options in Red Bank sad to say how bad this was.

“BIG”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014 via mobile

disappointment! Have dined here many times at the other location on 520... New place is LOUD! The waitress had to scream the specials at us! Portions are much smaller ... We were a party of eight . Half the table received their dinners and the other half came after about 8-10 minutes after finally catching the waitress's eye... Fillet if sole was mushy. I had the branzino , a special that was quite good... Swordfish was a very small portion at a not so small price... Couldn't talk to our friends at the end of the table because of the noise level.New place is not cozy like the old location... We've crossed this place off of our list ....

“Awesome Lamb Chops In A Sicilian Mint Sauce”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2014

I ordered the lamb chops in a sicilian mint sauce at San Remo's last week . They were the best lamb chops I have ever had. I was a bit concerned about the mint sauce because I thought it would be sweet and I don't like sweet food. The sicilian mint sauce was not sweet and you could really taste the fresh mint which complimented the lamb chops. It was so delicious. The chef was very nice and came out to ask us if we enjoyed the food... yes Chef very much! The food is outstanding! If it is not on the menu when you go ask for the Chef "Sandro" and he will make it for you! My boyfriend I are going there tomorrow for Valentine's Day. I can't wait to see what is on the menu. I hope Lamb Chops with the sicilian mint sauce.
