My boyfriend and I stayed there just this past week. 8/19-8/21. I have to say it doesn't look great from the outside, but it was very clean on the inside. We stayed in the suite (which I loved) because of the privacy. We had a huge deck to hang out on w/no one else around. The room did NOT smell like a typical Jersey Shore hotel. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was immaculate. Some cigarette holes in comforters but sheets were clean. Raj is very accomodating. Beach passes come w/your room but the first day, the weather wasn't great so we didn't need the passes. On the day of our check-out, not only did he let us leave our car to spend the day, he gave us beach passes after we already checked out! Cons: have to ask for more towels but he gladly obliges and they could use to put some new, clean couches. Other than that, our overall stay was very pleasant. I would definitely stay again. Parking is also very accomodating. Lot has plenty of parking. My car stayed right in front of my room so I could check it at any time..THANKS RAJ!

I recently stayed at the Mariner's Cove in Point Pleasant and I am having a hard time understanding why it is ranked number one. The only plus this place had was the location to the beach, it was very convenient. However, the rooms were disgusting and unkept. We wouldn't walk around barefoot because the carpet was moist and turned your feet black. I think their idea of cleaning the room was making the bed, changing the garbage, and giving you new towels. They did not vacuum or change the sheets. We know the sheets were not changed cause the stains from previous guests were still present and our hair from the night before was still on the pillow cases and sheets. The room was dusty and smelt like mold and smoke. I purposefully left a tissue on the floor near the bed and it was never picked up for the 4 days that we were there. I will never stay here again.

The Mariner's Cove Motor Inn had very friendly staff, great pool facilities, it was a short walk to the boardwalk, free parking, beach passes are included - we had a GREAT time and got a great deal!! I would stay here again.

Look, I'm not sure where to go with this review after reading some of the other less than happy reviews. I have stayed at Mariners Cove 3 times, and each time was thoroughly pleased. Raj and staff make every effort to see that I enjoy my stay. I have had a great time there every time, and will continue to go there everytime I visit PP. O.K., the bed was a little bouncy, the TV a little snowy. This is not a slick, red carpet, phony hotel! This is where you can be casual and comfortable, which is exactly what I want when I'm on vacation. It's My place.
