“Amazing!! A must stay place if you're in the area.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012

I truly can not rave enough about the Tower Cottage. My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night almost 2 years ago and we STILL talk about how amazing this place was. It has all of the comfiness of a B&B, but it so beautiful inside you feel like you're at a 5 star hotel. The rooms are nicely done, High end details like Lenox & crystal everywhere, but when you meet the owners, Maureen & Tony they make you feel like family.
So that covers the bed, what about the breakfast... Also amazing!! they served fresh coffee, fresh juice, started with fresh fruit that was served in the rind of a pineapple and still to this day is the BEST fruit salad I have ever eaten! Then came an amazing omelet with cheese, potatoes veggies and toast! Every aspect of this B&B is excellent! They should have a higher rating for establishments like this that truly exceed expectation, like "outta this world" LOL! If you are at the Jersey Shore there is honestly no better place you could stay.

I booked 5 days at The Tower Cottage, Versailles Room, for the week of July 4th, and I have to say, Maureen and Tony made this stay the most memorable experience I have ever had at any hotel, hands down. Maureen greeted us with afternoon snacks when we arrived - cheeses, crackers and fresh fruits - and in the evening there was always a plate of sweets in the dining room - lemon bars, brownies, cheesecake. But the BREAKFASTS...words cannot even express how AMAZING those are! Fresh fruit and sorbet parfaits every morning, then followed with entrees like eggs benedict, stuffed french toast, spinach and aparagus quiche... Tony is a fantastic host - tending to serving everyone's breakfasts, and answering all our nosey questions about the house and surrounding area! They also made up cute little beach bags with towels, snack, and beach tags for us each day!
The hotel is IMMACULATELY CLEAN - not a speck of dust anywhere, impeccably cleaned and shined bathrooms - and the tubs and showers are incredibly beautiful too!
I can't wait to refer my friends and relatives, and look forward to visiting The Tower Cottage again in the future!

This is truly a 5 star hotel experience packed into a beautifully restored Victorian Bed and Breakfast with all modern amenities. Wireless internet, flat screen tvs, delicious gourmet breakfast, comfortable beds, individual climate controls, jacuzzi tub, etc. Maureen and Tony pampered us with freshly baked blueberry muffins, fresh fruit and cream, cheese and crackers, asparagus frittata and other scrumptious surprises. They also supplied beach towels, badges, and umbrellas. Forget the run down motels and experience true luxury close the beach and boardwalk.

We spent 2 nights in the Wellington suite at The Tower Cottage and it was a warm & cozy spot to spend time together. The cottage which was restored by Tony & Maureen to its original Victorian beauty was perfect in every way. The furnishings & amenities were top notch. The food was delectable. Tony & Maureen were the perfect hosts they made you feel welcome the second you stepped on the front porch. The location is perfect if you want to walk the boardwalk or sit on the beach. There are several very good restaurants in town. This B&B is a must if you are looking for a short getaway to just relax & enjoy. It was so well worth the cost & I am looking forward to my next visit.

We had the opportunity to visit The Cottage this past Spring. It was a quick escape for my husband and I to share a few nights together and begin to celebrate our nuptials as newlyweds on a mini honeymoon of sorts! The ambience as you walk through their front door, sets the stage for the beautifully designed rooms and suite above. They are all lovely, and each has a special detail to entice you. As a designer, I was truly capable of experiencing all the personal touches that Tony and Maureen have created at The Cottage. I now understand why their names are mentioned in nearly every review. Staying with them is like visiting family, and family that is really happy to have you for a visit! The personal attention that Mike and I received was greatly appreciated, and the presentation of our breakfast and snacks were photo taking opportunities as well as delectable delights! Thank you both for making a memorable moment extra special for us both! We do look forward to our next visit!!! Terri & Mike

We stayed at the Tower Cottage for two nights while in town for a wedding. The food was exceptional and our room was pristine. Tony and Maureen were extremely warm and friendly but not at all intrusive. The location is also great- a few blocks from the beach and boardwalk. We highly recommend this beautiful bed and breakfast.

Room Tip: They are all lovely but the Tower Suite on the top floor is exceptional.

We spent one night in the Tuscan Dreams suite of the Tower Cottage B&B and it was such a lovely experience that I wanted to make sure to write. My husband is English and his idea of a B&B was quite different than the American version of what a B&B is. At first he was put off with feeling like he was in someones home, but that feeling soon went out the window. Tony and Maureen are such sweet, down-to-earth, welcoming hosts and every detail shows how much pride and care goes into everything they do. The rooms are beautiful, the detail astounding, the food was magnificent beyond description and with only a 5 minute walk you're standing on the beach. I can't say enough about this lovely property and although it seems a bit pricey at first, you'll soon see it's worth every penny.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Tuscan Dreams suite which had a lovely 2-person whirlpool bath, wine cooler, cable...
