“Great stay for price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2014

Extremely clean & comfortable, price very good, service was great with excellent people. Would definitely stay again. Only drawbacks, towels scratchy, parking very tight and a bit sparse. close to anything one could need.

While this hotel is NOT fancy (no coffee, maker/hair dryer, shampoo - you will need to pack your own)...the rooms are small and the shower is really small, it is by far the cleanest and freshest I have stayed in. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of covers for cool, damp fall nights at the shore. The staff/owner was really nice and accomodating. I had hurt my back and side in a silly fall 3 days before and we were shown their regular room, king room and suite so that we could decide which would be better for my mobility. We would definately stay here again. The owner directed us to a nearby tavern to watch Sunday football...food was good and atmosphere fun.

went after Labor Day. Still had to pay for beach parking. Passes to beach were welcomed benefit. Shuttle to beach would have been nice. Other motels do offer rides. No hair dryer or coffee maker-- coffee at front desk would have been nice. Wifi unsecured. No phone in room. Office often closed when info or beach passes needed. People friendly. Found nothing for breakfast within walking distance and one restaurant 5 min drive on weekend. Did get AWFUL coffee at 7-11. I would either rent the efficiency apartment and pack more, or pay more and stay where there are more amenities. Pool needs to be open longer--is clean.

Nice rooms, clean and well presented, good location and friendly staff.

Only problem is I hate sleeping on plastic and this was one of the worst. You can even hear the plastic crinkle when you sit on the bed.

A coffee machine or microwave would have been nice.

The location couldn't be better, a few short easy blocks to boardwalk. the beds were comfortable, free parking, free beach passes. the receptionist was very pleasant over the phone and in person. they let us arrive early to park the car and pick up our beach passes so we could enjoy our full day at the beach and the boardwalk.

My husband and I stayed here on a Sunday to Monday. We arrived earlier than check in, around noon, and they let us use our parking space. This was great because it saved us looking for a spot close to the boardwalk and paying a fee for parking. We just told them our last name and they gave us beach passes and a map of the area too.
The walk to the beach is about 7-8 minutes, not too bad. When you hit the boardwalk you are at the very END of it, so you have to walk a bit to get to the games. The boardwalk is clean and there are lots of arcades and food places. We had drinks at the Boardwalk Bar which is somewhat a dive bar. The bartenders were friendly and fun and kept the drinks coming!
The hotel let us check in early around 1:15. The room is small but very clean. Small flat screen tv with a clean refrigerator and small folding table. The air condition worked great and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom towels they provide are very small so I would suggest bringing your own shower towels. We stayed in room 3 which has a stand up shower which is on the smaller side but very clean!
The pool is a decent size inground pool with lounge chairs and two tables with with umbrellas in the pool area. Right outside the fenced in pool area is 2 gas grills available to use and about 4 tables with
chairs and umbrellas.
Overall it is close to the attractions and very clean. Price was so great, we would
defiantly stay there again.

We've been here before and really like this place. It's a family style beach motel 5 minutes from the ocean and boardwalk. Our family booked 4 rooms/suites-back apartments for a family reunion in Pt. Beach. Everyone in the family was extremely happy with the cleanliness, size, and location. We hung out in the evenings by the pool where they have tables and a place to BBQ. Our room (#11) had a kitchen and living room. A great stay and we'll be back!
