“Best kept local secret!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

Bridge Ave location is tiny with a downscale atmosphere but it's my favorite. I often stop by to pick up a quart or two of their clam chowder, either Manhattan Red or New England White -it's the BEST in the area - hands down! Full of clams, perfect! They have fresh, high quality seafood and they know how to cook it. Paper placemats and plastic forks, generous portions and the food is absolutely delicious. Sit down, take out, or bring home fresh seafood from the market. Love the lobster roll, french fries are fresh cut. Why cook for a holiday when you can order from the catering menu? Staff is friendly and helpful.

“great value, no frills, tasty food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

have been coming to point pleasant for years and somehow missed this place. nothing much to look at, but the food was fresh and delish! some outdoor seating. prompt and friendly service. and the value can't be beat. had the fisherman's stew and a bottle of water for under $20. and the portion was substantial. it's down the road from two other popular restaurants, and they charge at least twice as much. this place is apparently a fisherman's co-op, so it's nice to be able to support not only a local business but the people who go out and bring in the catch.

“SOOOOO FRESH”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

This is a market and restaurant. They have two locations that are equally excellent. The food tastes like it just came from the sea...which it did in most cases. The restaurant are not much to look at and you will be served on paper plates or the pan the meal was cooked in, but you will eat it all! It is so good that the paper plates and market look with make it fun!

“Awesome and huge portions!”

This place is fabulous. Good food and worth the wait in line. It is BYOB though, didn't know that when we got there.

“Casual and comfortable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012

Overall this is a good restaurant, but there are a few things that need improving. Just to say the fish is fresh is great, but they don't do anything different with the fish. It's alot of fried fish, and really under-seasoned. The shrimp cocktail came out lukewarm and tasteless, but fresh (some were unpeeled on the plate). The crab cake was a wad of something the size of a golf ball and deep fried, so much so that we had to wrap it in a napkin and squeeze the grease out of it..not so good. The other things on the menu were typical..stuffed flounder, stuffed shrimp, fish and chips, very unoriginal and that doesn't show case the freshness of the fish when everything is fried. I would not say this is the best place around, just good enough for a weeknight when you don't want to cook.
