“Rooms are on the small side, but clean!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

My husband and I stayed here on a Sunday to Monday. We arrived earlier than check in, around noon, and they let us use our parking space. This was great because it saved us looking for a spot close to the boardwalk and paying a fee for parking. We just told them our last name and they gave us beach passes and a map of the area too.
The walk to the beach is about 7-8 minutes, not too bad. When you hit the boardwalk you are at the very END of it, so you have to walk a bit to get to the games. The boardwalk is clean and there are lots of arcades and food places. We had drinks at the Boardwalk Bar which is somewhat a dive bar. The bartenders were friendly and fun and kept the drinks coming!
The hotel let us check in early around 1:15. The room is small but very clean. Small flat screen tv with a clean refrigerator and small folding table. The air condition worked great and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom towels they provide are very small so I would suggest bringing your own shower towels. We stayed in room 3 which has a stand up shower which is on the smaller side but very clean!
The pool is a decent size inground pool with lounge chairs and two tables with with umbrellas in the pool area. Right outside the fenced in pool area is 2 gas grills available to use and about 4 tables with
chairs and umbrellas.
Overall it is close to the attractions and very clean. Price was so great, we would
defiantly stay there again.

We've been here before and really like this place. It's a family style beach motel 5 minutes from the ocean and boardwalk. Our family booked 4 rooms/suites-back apartments for a family reunion in Pt. Beach. Everyone in the family was extremely happy with the cleanliness, size, and location. We hung out in the evenings by the pool where they have tables and a place to BBQ. Our room (#11) had a kitchen and living room. A great stay and we'll be back!

We stayed 2 nights,in an efficiency 3A...small but clean, reasonably priced... redone very Basically after Sandy but could use some changes/additions to make it a little more welcoming. Nice flat screen TV! I have some decorating ideas:)The front desk people were nice.
Even though it is a non- smoking place, the cigarette butts out front should be swept up each day. Beds OK but the plastic zippered covers on the mattress & box spring are a little noisy & the duct tape on one boxspring covers needs to be removed...replace the cover!!! But I was glad to see them covered! The bedspreads were new & thank goodness the ones in this room were not those ugly flowered ones! Towels were clean but a little threadbare..need to be replaced but washcloths were fine. Nice town, shops & beautiful beach, good restaurants!. Close to the boardwalk & beach.OK if you are on a budget & don*t want to spend a lot of $$$$ @ a B&B! It was OK for 2 nites while visiting family in PPB!I

Room Tip: if you use 3A efficiency...bring your own tissues, papertowels , shampoo & hair blowdryer ..t...

Just returned from a two night stay. The rooms have all been upgraded with flat screen tv's, new rugs, new beds, etc. The hurricane did a number on this place, but it has definately bounced back. Place looks great. I am so glad they were able to re-open. Front desk very friendly. Had a great time.

My wife and I love coming here. It is a clean family motel that has recently been renovated and the upgrades have added greatly to the overall quality of the rooms. The owner (Joe) will go out of his way to see that your needs are met and is a top notch guy. The motel is within walking distance of the boardwalk (7 min), the canal restaurants like the Shrimp Box, Red's Lobster (5 min), Spikes Seafood (2 min), and Dunkin Donuts down towards the borough (5 min). Talk about one terrific location. I would highly recommend this motel to anybody traveling to Pt. Pleasant Beach.

Room Tip: Rooms #8 and #17 are good as are the rooms by the road.

Absolutly horrible place paid for late night check out to find out when I come to the room it is filthy and very uncomfortable. Holes in the bed spread that were patched up and not even one chair outside to sit on. They would not refund my money for late checkout because the lady behind the counter said well you did it allready so no I'm not going to refund it. Do not go here this place is a dump! ! And customer service sucks!

First the good, the rates were the lowest of what was quoted by all the motels we called. The owner was very accomodating on the phone and the staff was helpful when we arrived. The bed was very comfortable as well and we were allowed a late checkout which was very nice.

But what would prevent us from coming back would be the following:

The parking lot adjouns the area leading up to the rooms and there is no place to even add a chair or two. You must walk through a narrow opening to the rear of the motel to an area that is encapsulated by a six foot high chain link fence. New pavement and a fresh coat of paint would go a very long way in changing the appearance.

What really upset us was that at 3:00 AM, a very rude patron parks his hot rod on an angle and revs his engine waking up our entire family.
