Decided to try Farrell's again since experiences before hadn't been that good with food and service. The food was good. The service was timely. We were about the only patrons in the restaurant area so we were able to converse without straining to hear each other.

Our party of 6 ordered 6 different items of the menu. They were "out" of 4 of them and this was at 6pm. There was just a handful of customers and 1 waitress. I think the writing is on the wall with this place as it dies a slow death. On the plus side, the items they did have were good.

Only low point was the service which was NOT terrible...just not as good as the food...lol...plus she made up for the mistakes with a complimentary delicious carrot cake...

Normally I don't get excite about the food in a pub, but this one is an exception. My son ordered pasta with bacon, cream, and sundried tomatoes that was very tasty, my wife ordered a grilled salad with bacon bits, and I had NY Strip steak that was cooked perfect. The prices were reasonable as well. We only went there as the Wharfside gave away our table and at the last minute we had to go somewhere else.
