“The King of Chinese food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2011

I have family that live in this area and have been eating here with them for at least 10 years. I have never had a bad experience. No one makes shrimp toast like the Orient. If you're eating in, try the all-inclusive appetizer for two that comes with a mini flame grill to toast items. The scallion pancake is wonderful too and the little crunchy things that come at the beginning of the meal are addictive.

“Consistently Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2011

I've eatedn here about 5 times in the past 3 months. They also do a lot of pick up/take out meals, but I visited the sit down restaurant section. The decor is typical Chinese, nothing special. Tables are nicely spaced, and there are a few larger tables for bigger parties. I've tried several fish and meat dishes, and each one was tasty. I'm a fan of the chicken with pineapple, or shrimp with garlic sauce. The vegetables are crisp, and not soggy or overcooked. The wonton wrappers are thick and a little gummy, I prefer them thinner and more delicate. The soup base is delicious, although the tofu soup is a bit bland. Combination plates are available, and are a great $$ deal. Service is right on target, with orders taken quickly, and only a reasonable wait for the food to be brought. Drinks are kept refilled, and waiters check frequently to see if anything is needed. Dinner ends with the traditional fortune cookies, and a tri-colored jello cube. Unusual, but a sweet treat. I'd recommend this for dinner to anyone.
